Delor is a corticosteroid for topical use.
Indications Delor
It is indicated for such diseases:
- eczema;
- psoriasis (except for the common plaque type - vulgar psoriasis form);
- red flat lichen;
- skin diseases that are resistant to less powerful SCS.
Release form
Produced in the form of a cream in tubes with a volume of 25 g. One pack contains 1 tube of cream.
Pharmacodynamics
Prokionate of clobetasol is a powerful local SCS, which is used in dermatology. Among its properties are anti-inflammatory. In addition, it reduces the strength of the itching, as well as the process of collagen synthesis in the skin.
Pharmacokinetics
After absorption through the skin of the drug, it is likely that the same metabolic process takes place, as in systemic use. At the same time, the systemic metabolism of clobetasol propionate has not yet been fully studied.
Re-absorption of the active component of the skin with a noticeable individual differences, and can be enhanced by the use of a hermetically sealed dressing, as well as when treating the cream with a damaged or inflamed skin surface.
Dosing and administration
Cream treated affected areas 1-2 times a day - until the onset of improvement. The maximum total weekly dosage is 50 g. The use of drugs should be discontinued as soon as noticeable improvements are achieved. The recommended duration of the treatment course is no more than 4 weeks, during which constant monitoring of the patient's condition is required.
If the medicine does not give results after 4 weeks of use, treatment adjustment is necessary. If necessary, continue therapy with GCS, it is recommended to switch to less powerful drugs.
In the process of eliminating resistant skin lesions (especially with hyperkeratosis), the anti-inflammatory properties of Delora can be strengthened by using a (at night) sealed bandage (use polyethylene film for this). As a rule, one of such procedures is enough, and then the cream is applied openly.

Use Delor during pregnancy
Information about the use of drugs during pregnancy is rather limited. In any case, the use of local GCS in large quantities and for a long time pregnant women is prohibited.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications:
- presence of pink or common acne (rosacea or acne);
- a virus infection on the skin (triggered by chickenpox or a common herpes virus);
- intolerance of individual elements of the drug;
- The bacteria caused by bacteria or fungi damage the skin;
- Dermatoses that develop in children younger than 1 year (among such diaper types of dermatitis).
Since the safety of using drugs during lactation is not confirmed, it is required to stop breastfeeding before using Delors.
Side effects Delor
The result of using drugs can be such adverse reactions:
- immune system: single - hypersensitivity;
- local skin reactions: rashes with itching and burning, and in addition the development of urticaria, erythema or contact dermatitis of an allergic type. Usually, these symptoms appear on the treatment site with cream. If such manifestations occur, you should immediately abolish the use of drugs;
- organs of the endocrine system: single - the symptoms of Cushing's. As in the use of other topical SCS, long-term use of drugs at high dosages in large areas of the skin can provoke the development of hypercorticism, as systemic absorption of the drug occurs. Most often, this side reaction develops when using a sealed bandage, and in addition to infants (they have such a "bandage" become diapers). If the adult weekly dosage is not more than 50 g, the suppression of the activity of the adrenal cortex and pituitary gland is reversible - after the cancellation of the treatment course using SCS;
- organs of the cardiovascular system: occasionally the blood vessels located on the surface of the skin can expand. Intensive long-term therapy with potent GCS can provoke vasodilation (especially in the case of using occlusive dressings or when rubbing the cream into skin folds);
- reactions of the skin and subcutaneous tissues: occasionally, local atrophy or the appearance of stretch marks is possible; single - the pigmentation can change, thinning of the skin can be observed, hypertrichosis or exudative psoriasis can develop. As a result of intensive and prolonged use of the drug, the above atrophic disorders are possible (especially if a hermetically sealed dressing was used). Very rarely, the elimination of psoriasis with the help of GCS (or as a result of discontinuation of GCS treatment) can cause the pathology to be transformed into a pustular form.

Overdose
The development of acute overdose, as a rule, is unlikely, but as a result of misuse of drugs or in the chronic form of overdose, signs of hypercorticism may appear.
To eliminate symptoms, you should gradually stop using Delor.
Interactions with other drugs
Combined use with drugs that are able to inhibit the enzyme CYP3A4 (for example, such as ritonavir or itraconazole) slows the metabolism of corticosteroids and can trigger the development of a systemic effect. The clinical significance of this interaction depends on the dosage of the GCS, the route of its administration, and the power of the inhibitor of the CYP3A4 enzyme.

Storage conditions
