Delufen is a medicinal spray that contains homeopathic active ingredients of plant origin.
Indications Delufen
Delufen is a medicinal spray that contains homeopathic active ingredients of plant origin.
Release form
It is produced as a solution in polyethylene bottles of 20 or 30 ml. One pack contains 1 bottle with a sprayer.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicine has strong anti-allergic, healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-edematous properties, helps improve nasal breathing, and also relieves rhinorrhea of various origins.
The drug works by reducing the sensitivity of the nasal mucosa to internal irritants and allergens - as a result, swelling is reduced and the excretory activity of the mucosal glands is reduced.
Delufen effectively copes with runny noses of various origins (including viral, bacterial, allergic, and vasomotor). Long-term use of the drug does not lead to addiction or weakening of its effectiveness.
In addition, the medicine prevents the development of itching, as well as dryness of the nasal mucosa, enhances its protective properties, and at the same time improves the sense of smell.
The drug also has a certain antimicrobial effect, which allows it to strengthen local immunity and speed up the patient’s recovery.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is used intranasally. Before using the solution for the first time, remove the protective cap from the bottle and then press the sprayer 3-4 times - this is necessary to obtain a uniform dosage.
Before the procedure, the patient's nostrils must be cleaned, then the tip of the nozzle must be carefully inserted into the nostril and pressed until it stops. After the procedure, the nozzle must be wiped with a clean, dry cloth and then closed with a protective cap. The duration of the treatment course, as well as the dosage of the drug, are selected separately for each patient.
For children over 12 years of age and adults, the dosage is 2 sprays in each nostril four times a day.
For children under 12 years of age, the dosage is 1 spray in each nostril, also four times a day.
At the beginning of the treatment course, it is permitted to use the medicine in a standard single dose up to 8 times a day (the interval between procedures should be 1.5-2 hours).
The duration of the therapeutic course in patients with catarrhal rhinitis is usually 1 week.
The duration of treatment for patients with purulent rhinitis, sinusitis or eustachitis is generally about 14-28 days.
To eliminate the chronic form of rhinitis, treatment usually continues for 1-2 months. The allergic form of the disease is usually treated for 7-28 days.
For the treatment of chronic forms of diseases, it is allowed to repeat treatment courses several times a year.
