Deltalicin is a freeze-dried powder used in the manufacture of nasal drops.
Indications Deltalicin
It is indicated for the elimination of symptoms of stress-induced disorders that occur with emotional imbalance disorders, irritability, and also with sleep problems and dysphoria. Also for the treatment of manifestations of a stressful state (deterioration of mental performance and memory, as well as a feeling of anxiety).
In narcology, it is used as a means of helping to get rid of alcohol withdrawal syndrome, as well as pathological cravings for alcoholic beverages. The drug helps best in cases of affective and vegetative symptoms (subdepressive and dysphoric) in withdrawal syndrome.
It is also used for drug and alcohol poisoning.
Release form
It is available in powder form in 0.3 mg ampoules. One package contains 5 or 10 ampoules with powder.
Pharmacodynamics
DSIP is the active ingredient of the drug – it is a natural neuromodulatory peptide produced by the human body and has a wide range of pharmacological action.
This peptide has pronounced adaptogenic and stress-protective properties, enhances the body's immunity against negative stress effects that occur in pathological conditions due to diseases of various origins. It prevents the occurrence or limits the symptomatic severity of stress-induced disorders within the body. The modulating properties of the substance do not manifest themselves in a healthy physiological state of a person.
The peptide has an anticonvulsant, as well as antidepressant and antitoxic effect, improves human performance (both physical and mental), and in addition stabilizes sleep and limits the severity of autonomic disorders.
This neuropeptide helps to establish cardiac electrical stability, and in addition, increases the fibrillation threshold and limits cardiovascular disorders that develop during stress. Thanks to the active component of the drug, it is possible to reduce the primary pathological craving for alcohol and get rid of the symptoms of withdrawal syndrome.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is administered intranasally. Before the procedure, open the ampoule and add 10-12 drops of water (boiled and cooled to room temperature or distilled) and then instill 1-2 drops into the middle part of each nostril at intervals of approximately 15-20 minutes. When instilling, tilt your head to the shoulder opposite the nostril being instilled. The drops are completely absorbed through the nasal mucosa.
Do not allow the medicine to enter the nasopharynx.
The duration of treatment and dosage depend on the severity of the pathology. Adults are usually prescribed 1-3 ampoules per day for 5-10 days. If necessary, the course can be repeated after 1-2 months.
