Delacet is an anti-pediculosis drug that is produced in the form of a tincture for external use.

Indications Delacet

Indicated for the treatment of head lice (for adults and children over 5 years of age).

Release form

Available as a tincture in 100g glass bottles. One package contains 1 bottle.

Pharmacodynamics

The active component of the drug is bisoprolol hemifumarate. The drug has a powerful toxic effect on lice at any stage of their growth and development. The alkaloid delsolin, contained in the grass of the field consolidida, also has an insecticidal effect on lice eggs and adults. Delacet does not irritate the scalp and does not damage the hair.

Dosing and administration

The tincture should be applied to a cotton swab, and then the hair should be treated with it. After this, the head should be wrapped in polyethylene, and a scarf should be tied on top, and kept like this for 2-3 hours. Then you need to thoroughly wash your head, using warm water with shampoo or soap, and then comb out the nits with a thick comb.

If necessary, a repeat treatment procedure may be performed after a week.
