Special instructions
Cerazette belongs to a group of oral contraceptives that contain only one hormone. They are called "mini-pills". They increase the viscosity of mucus, which makes fertilization more difficult. Mini-pills can be used for migraines and heart defects - diseases for which combined contraceptives are not prescribed.
They are preferred by teenagers and women over 40. You can combine taking the mini-pill with breastfeeding. An ideal method of contraception for women who have not given birth and have problems with hormonal levels, such as increased levels of male hormones.
The advantage of estrogen-free pills is that they do not have a harmful effect on breast milk. If you are breastfeeding, in 40% of cases, despite the absence of menstruation, you ovulate.
Women over 40 who smoke should not start taking hormonal contraceptives without consulting a doctor, as smoking promotes the formation of blood clots, just like the pill. Only mini-pills with progestin are suitable for such women.
An alternative to the mini-pill is combined oral contraceptives: high-dose, medium-dose and micro-dose. They are taken for 21 days without a break, and then take a break of 7 days. They suppress ovulation. In addition to the contraceptive effect, they can be used to regulate menstruation and treat acne and mastopathy. After childbirth, they are taken after 4 months.
The first COC was Enovid, it appeared in the 60s of the XX century. It caused many side effects. Since then, contraception has come a long way.
Another method of protection against unwanted pregnancy is an intrauterine device. It is inserted into the uterus for 4-5 years. It is best suited for breastfeeding mothers and those who use contraception after childbirth. The device is not suitable for you if you suspect sexually transmitted infections or cancer, an allergy to copper, or anemia - when using the device, menstruation may become more abundant than before.
A new type of contraception is the intrauterine hormonal system. This is a spiral and hormonal contraception combined in one device. The system can be removed at any time at the woman's request. When using this device, menstruation is reduced to 2 days. It is suitable for women with diabetes and those who smoke.
The effectiveness of such a popular method among young people as a condom does not exceed 50%. Therefore, more and more women are thinking about giving preference to hormonal contraceptives. In the world, 90 million women have chosen this method of protection. They have minimal side effects.
Hormonal injections are a method of contraception that is gaining popularity. They constantly release hormones into the body and are suitable for unorganized women.
Condoms are safe and inexpensive. They are the most accessible method of contraception, do not require a doctor's consultation and are ideal for teenage girls.
In addition to male condoms, there are also female ones. Their effectiveness increases if gel or paste is additionally used.
Creams, foam and non-foam suppositories are used together with condoms. These are chemical contraceptives.
There are also emergency contraception. It can prevent 95% of pregnancies if no other contraception has been taken. It is effective for 72 hours after contact. Side effects of emergency contraception include nausea, vomiting, and subsequent hormonal imbalances. The most popular is Postinor. Take one tablet 48 hours after sex and the next one 12 hours later.
However, emergency contraception has a negative impact on the female body and should only be used as a last resort.
The drug Cerazette will help you avoid such an extreme measure in case of unwanted pregnancy as abortion. Abortion is the end of life. Life that has already begun, but is still unnoticeable.
During an abortion, the cervix and body of the uterus are injured. In addition, no abortion passes without leaving a trace on the woman's psyche.
If you have decided to have an abortion, you need to go to a women's clinic. An abortion is performed up to 20 weeks for medical reasons. At the woman's request - up to 12 weeks. At terms up to 8 weeks, a medical abortion is possible.
