Dosing and administration

Before treatment with a drug, it is imperative to carry out the procedure using a soap-alkaline bath. The drug is applied to the infected nail, and then sealed with a waterproof plaster for a period of 48 hours. Next, remove the plaster and dip the affected finger into warm water for 10 minutes. After that, the infected part of the nail plate will be softened, and it can be removed with a scraper.

In situations where the nail bed does not become completely smooth, it is again treated with cream and sealed with a plaster. The medicine should be used until the bed becomes smooth and its entire softened area is removed. The duration of the course is determined by the size of the infected area and the thickness of the nail plate. For complete removal of an infected nail fungus usually requires 1-3 exposures with a duration of 48 hours each (thus, the course is 2-6 days).

When the nail is removed, treatment is performed using a local antimycotic prescribed by the attending doctor (the course lasts 1 month). The effectiveness of therapy for fungal infections of the nails is mainly determined by the thoroughness of the removal of the infected area of the plate and the subsequent antimycotic treatment.

In the absence of the desired effect after the 1st cycle of use of the cream, you need to consult with a medical specialist for the possible appointment of a repeated treatment course.
