CAMPOMEN is used to eliminate pathologies that occur in the throat region. It is included in the group of antiseptics.

Indications of the camphomena

It is used for the combined treatment of acute forms of inflammation developing in the upper part of the respiratory tract: pharyngolaryngitis with pharyngitis, as well as a runny nose, and in addition in the segment after operations to remove polyps and the procedure of tonsillectomy.

Release form

The release takes place in the form of an aerosol, in canisters with a volume of 30 g. Inside the package there is one canister equipped with a nebulizer.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, which provide nitrosfural with eucalyptus oil. In addition, the medicine has anti-edematous properties that arise under the influence of camphor oil and other its constituent elements.

In the mechanism of therapeutic action, very important are the reflexes associated with the processes of stimulation of high-sensitivity nerve receptors. The irritation of the endings on the mucous stimulates the formation and release of endorphins with enkephalins, as well as peptides that play an important role in the regulation of pain, and in addition the permeability of the vessels located in the oral and nasal cavity and in the pharynx, and with other processes.

Dosing and administration

Before inhalation, it is necessary to remove the cap from the nozzle-sprayer, then for half a centimeter enter it inside the nasal cavity, and press. The substance from the spray cannon is in a fine state when sprayed. After 1-st pressing, 0.1 g of the drug is sprayed.

Injection is carried out inside the oral and nasal cavity, at the time of inspiration - in the amount of 2-3 clicks, 3-4 times / day after eating. Continue this therapy should be for 5-7 days.

Usually the symptoms disappear after 3-5 days.

Use of the camphomena during pregnancy

There is no evidence of contraindications regarding the use of CAMPOMEN in pregnancy or lactation.

Contraindications

The main contraindications:

• the presence of hypersensitivity to any elements of the drug, as well as derivatives of nitrofural;
• whooping cough and eczema;
• propensity to develop seizures and spasms of the bronchi.

It is forbidden to prescribe medicines to people who work in industries with a high level of dust (tobacco, cement, flour or asbestos enterprises).

Side effects of the camphomena

The use of the drug may trigger the development of side effects:

• immune disorders: allergy symptoms, including rash, itching, as well as swelling in the nasopharyngeal mucosa;
• disorders of respiratory function: dyspnea, hoarse voice and laryngospasm;
• problems with the work of the National Assembly: headaches with dizziness. Cramps may develop (under the influence of camphor);
• local symptoms: a burning sensation caused by a strong intolerance to the elements of the medicine.

Overdose

With intoxication, the severity of side effects may be increased. Symptomatic measures should be taken to correct the violations.

Camphoren should be kept out of the reach of children and sunlight. The temperature is not above 40 ° C.

Shelf life

Camphor can be used for 2 years from the date of manufacture of the medicament.

Application for children

It is forbidden to use in children under 5 years old. The remaining children should be treated under the constant supervision of the doctor.
