Camphomen is used to eliminate pathologies that occur in the throat area. It is included in the group of antiseptics.
Indications Camphomena
It is used in the combined treatment of acute forms of inflammation developing in the upper respiratory tract: pharyngolaryngitis with pharyngitis, as well as rhinitis, and also in the period after operations to remove polyps and tonsillectomy procedures.
Release form
It is released in the form of an aerosol, in 30 g cans. Inside the package there is 1 can equipped with a spray.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicine has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, which are provided by nitrofural with eucalyptus oil. In addition, the medicine has anti-edematous properties, which arise under the influence of camphor oil and its other components.
In the mechanism of therapeutic action, reflexes associated with the processes of irritation of highly sensitive nerve receptors are very important. Irritation of the endings on the mucous membranes stimulates the processes of formation and release of endorphins with enkephalins, as well as peptides that play an important role in the regulation of pain, as well as the permeability of blood vessels located in the oral and nasal cavity and in the pharynx, and in other processes.
Dosing and administration
Before inhalation, remove the cap from the spray nozzle, then insert it into the nasal cavity by half a centimeter and press. The substance from the canister is in a finely dispersed state when sprayed. After 1 press, 0.1 g of the medicine is sprayed.
The injection is carried out into the oral and nasal cavity, at the moment of inhalation - in the amount of 2-3 presses, 3-4 times a day after meals. Such therapy should be continued for 5-7 days.
Usually, signs of the disease disappear after 3-5 days.
