Camellia is a drug that has an effect on the respiratory system. Used to treat colds. It is included in the group of antiseptic agents.
[1]
Indications of the camelflu
It is used to eliminate acute (but also exacerbated chronic) inflammation in the nasopharynx and larynx - pharyngitis with a runny nose, as well as laryngitis and so on. In addition, the medicine is used to treat 1st and 2nd degree burns.
[2]
Pharmacodynamics
Camellia has disinfecting and anti-inflammatory properties, and besides it has a weak local analgesic effect. The mechanism of action is assisted by a reflex response (irritation of nerve receptors), as well as stimulation of the formation and subsequent release of endorphins along with other bioactive internal components that affect vascular permeability and pain sensations.
The combination of camphor, chlorobutanol hydrate, as well as eucalyptus oil, promotes the development of a disinfecting and anti-inflammatory effect, helps to facilitate the secretion of a viscous secretion accumulating in the upper part of the respiratory system. Menthol has mild local anesthetic properties and a deodorizing effect.
Dosing and administration
The spray is used nasal or oral - for children from 5 years old, as well as adults. It is topically applied to mucous and inflamed parts in the pharynx and mouth area, as well as the nose.
Shake the bottle slightly before use. During the procedure, you need to bow your head slightly, then direct the nozzle with a nebulizer into the nostril (about 0.5 cm) or on the area of inflammation in the throat, and then click on it. After irrigation, it takes a little hold of your breath. The bottle must be kept in a vertical position, upwards with a spray (use a spray, turning the bottle, it is forbidden).
It is required to perform 2-3 irrigation in the pharynx or mouth area, as well as 1-2 injections inside both nostrils. Apply the spray 3-4 times a day. If you need to treat the medicine with your throat or mouth, use a spray recommended after eating. Therapy usually lasts for 3-7 days. It is forbidden to use Camume more than 10 days.
During the treatment of burns, 2-3 irrigations of an area of 15-20 cm 2 of the burned body are performed . Do this 3-4 times a day.
