Bioprost has a complex composition, and its therapeutic effect is based on the activity of the active elements - pumpkin seed oil and thymol.

Indications Bioprost
It is used in the case of chronic infections of the prostate of a bacterial nature. In addition, it can be used in the chronic stage of abacterial prostatitis associated with hormonal, immune or autonomic disorders.
It can be prescribed in the case of prostate adenoma in the form of a symptomatic medicine.
Release form
The release of the medication is made in the form of rectal suppositories - 5 pieces inside a blister pack. The pack contains 2 such packages.
Pharmacodynamics
Thymol, which is obtained from the leaves and seeds of thyme, has antibacterial properties. At the same time, it demonstrates a pronounced disinfecting and antibacterial effect on the prostate and its mucous membranes, removes itching and has an anthelmintic effect.
The oil obtained from pumpkin seeds has antitumor, antioxidant and androgenic effects, accelerates the healing of affected tissues and restores the activity of the prostate. The herbal component of the drug provides the body with antioxidants, trace elements, and unsaturated fatty acids. The oil contains large amounts of elements Mg, Fe, Zn, Ca, P, selenium, B9-vitamin, and in addition vitamins from subgroup B, as well as retinol, tocopherol and F-vitamin.
Sensitivity to drugs is demonstrated by coccal and other pathogenic microbes - enterococcus with staphylococcus, Proteus and intestinal with Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
Rectal application of Bioprost prevents the risk of inactivation of the active elements of suppositories inside the gastrointestinal tract and liver. Getting directly into the secretion and tissues of the prostate, the medication demonstrates the optimal medicinal effect - it reduces inflammation and relieves pain.
Thanks to the use of drugs, erectile activity is improved and spermatogenesis is stabilized. The herbal elements of the drug have a positive effect on the blood vessels and tissues of the reproductive system, and also prevent the appearance of inflammation.
Dosing and administration
The medicine is administered by the rectal method - inside the rectum. It is necessary to apply 1-well suppository 1-2 times a day. Therapy should not last more than 2 weeks. If a longer treatment is required, you must first consult a doctor.
To increase the effect of the use of drugs, before the administration of the suppository, the patient must be given a micro- or cleansing enema, as well as cleanse the rectum from feces in a natural way. The suppository must be injected deeply.
After applying the medicine, the patient should remain in the supine position for at least 30-40 minutes.
If you need to use several suppositories per day, the interval between their administration should be at least 1-2 hours.

Use Bioprost during pregnancy
Bioprost is not used in women, therefore, it is not prescribed for HB or pregnancy.
