Biocide is an antiseptic, has a disinfecting effect. 0.1 ml of the solution contains 1 ml of the disinfectant "Gembar", as well as 0.1 ml of chamomile extract.

Due to the presence of the disinfecting element "Gembar" in the composition of the drug, its antiviral, antimicrobial and antimycotic activity develops. Chamomile extract contributes to the development of a moderate local anti-inflammatory and wound healing effect. Other constituent components are required for adjustment and shaping. [1]

Indications Biocide

It is used as an antiseptic, which is used to treat the epidermis in the areas where surgery or injection will be performed in patients, as well as in donors on the elbows. In addition, it is prescribed for the disinfection of the hands of surgeons , as well as for the treatment of hands, which is of a hygienic nature.

Release form

The release of drugs is realized in the form of an aqueous medicinal solution for external treatment procedures, inside containers with a volume of 0.25 or 0.5 liters.

Dosing and administration

With the hygienic treatment of hands by doctors in hospitals, kindergartens or schools, as well as people working in the food industry or perfumery and cosmetic salons, etc. - you need to use 3 ml of the substance for the hands. The medicine is rubbed into the epidermis until it dries completely (the exposure is at least half a minute).

For the treatment of hands by surgeons: you must first wash your forearms with your hands under running warm water (with soap) (the procedure lasts 2 minutes), and then dry them using a sterile gauze napkin. After that, the brushes are treated with 5 ml of the substance, rubbing it into the epidermis for 150 seconds (the skin must remain moist). Then the skin is again treated with 5 ml of liquid and the above procedure is repeated. The total duration of the processing period is 5 minutes.

Treatment performed with the operating area: the epidermis must be wiped twice successively with different sterile swabs soaked in the medicine. After completing the procedure, you must wait 2 minutes.

Treatment carried out with the injection area: wipe the epidermis using a cotton swab soaked in disinfectant liquid. After finishing processing, you need to wait 1 minute.

It is forbidden to use for persons under 2 years of age.

Use Biocide during pregnancy

There are no specific indications regarding the use of Biocide for hepatitis B or pregnancy.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated to appoint people with increased intolerance to the active and auxiliary components of the medication.

Drug intolerance can lead to the appearance of epidermal allergy symptoms - rashes and redness.

Interactions with other drugs

It is forbidden to use Biocide together with other antiseptic liquids.

The active element of the Gembar disinfectant is not compatible with anionic detergents and soap.

Storage conditions

The biocide should be kept out of the reach of children, in a dark place, inside a tightly sealed container. It is forbidden to freeze the medicine. Temperature values - no higher than 25 ° C.

Shelf life

The biocide is allowed to be used within 24 months from the date of manufacture of the medicinal product.
