Bellaspon has soothing and antispasmodic properties. Helps reduce the excitability of peripheral, as well as central cholinergic and adrenergic systems.

Release form

Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a combined effect. Has α-adrenergic blocking, soothing and m-holinoblokiruyuschie properties, allows you to eliminate the increased irritability from the neurovegetative system. The drug begins to medicate after 20-30 minutes after ingestion.
Dosing and administration
Take the medicine orally, in a dose of 1 dragee three times a day after meals (drink with water, not chewing). A day is allowed to take no more than 6 pellets. With a prolonged course of treatment (several months), the medicine should be canceled smoothly, gradually reducing the dosage.

Use Bellaspone during pregnancy
Absolute contraindication to taking a medicine is pregnancy. Also it is required to cancel breastfeeding for the period of treatment.
Contraindications

Overdose
Clinical manifestations in acute intoxication:
- Disorder of cardiovascular system function;
- development of diarrheal syndrome;
- peripheral vasoconstriction;
- the appearance of chills, seizures, nausea along with vomiting;
- loss of consciousness.
Manifestations with a chronic form of intoxication:
- development of gangrene, pain syndrome, arrhythmia;
- trophic disorders;
- unstable blood pressure;
- anginal pain;
- violation of the circulatory system in severe form.
The worst variant is a coma with shock, but also with kidney failure, hypotension, inhibition of cardiovascular function, and further - fatal.
To eliminate symptoms, stage-by-stage treatment of syndromes (gastric lavage, stabilization of hematopoiesis, implementation of preventive procedures against the occurrence of gangrene) is performed.
In case of severe overdose, it is necessary to restore the balance of electrolytes, and also to stabilize the function of the heart and the respiratory system.
Interactions with other drugs
Phenobarbital, which is contained in Bellaspon, reduces the effectiveness of antidepressants, indirect anticoagulants, and oral contraceptives (due to the induction of microsomal oxidative processes, and in addition to accelerating the metabolic process).
