Bellaspon has sedative and antispasmodic properties. It helps reduce the excitability of the peripheral, as well as central cholinergic and adrenergic systems.

Release form

It is produced in the form of dragees. One blister contains 15 dragees, one package contains 2 blister plates.

Pharmacodynamics

The medicine has a combined effect. It has α-adrenoblocking, sedative and m-anticholinergic properties, allows to eliminate increased irritability from the neurovegetative system. The drug begins to have a medicinal effect 20-30 minutes after oral administration.

Dosing and administration

The medicine should be taken orally, in a dosage of 1 pill three times a day after meals (wash down with water, without chewing). No more than 6 pills are allowed per day. In case of a long course of treatment (several months), the medicine should be discontinued gradually, gradually reducing the dosage.

Use Bellaspon during pregnancy

An absolute contraindication to taking the drug is pregnancy. Breastfeeding must also be discontinued during treatment.

Overdose

Clinical manifestations of acute intoxication:

  • cardiovascular dysfunction;
  • development of diarrheal syndrome;
  • peripheral vasoconstriction;
  • the appearance of chills, convulsions, nausea along with vomiting;
  • loss of consciousness.

Manifestations of chronic intoxication:

  • development of gangrene, pain syndrome, arrhythmia;
  • trophic disorders;
  • unstable blood pressure readings;
  • anginal pain;
  • severe circulatory disorder.

The worst case scenario is a comatose state with shock, and in addition, renal failure, hypotension, suppression of the cardiovascular system, and then death.

To eliminate symptoms, a step-by-step treatment of syndromes is performed (gastric lavage, stabilization of hematopoietic processes, performance of preventive procedures against the occurrence of gangrene).

In case of severe overdose, it is necessary to restore the electrolyte balance, as well as stabilize the function of the heart and respiratory system.

Interactions with other drugs

Phenobarbital, which is contained in Bellaspon, reduces the effectiveness of antidepressants, indirect anticoagulants, and oral contraceptives (due to the induction of microsomal oxidative processes, and also the acceleration of the metabolic process).

Storage conditions

Shelf life
