Indications Aqua Marisa
Aerosol for nose is applied:
- in diseases affecting the paranasal sinuses with the nose and nasopharynx (acute or chronic);
- to prevent or treat infections that occur in autumn and winter, and against their background inflammation in the nasal cavity;
- when the dryness of the nasal mucosa develops, which is observed when in rooms where central heating or air conditioning works, in very dry or severe climatic conditions, and also if necessary work in excessively dusty rooms;
- people working in hot shops, or smokers;
- in the allergic rhinitis, especially in pregnant or lactating mothers;
- for some time after surgery performed on the nose;
- when adenoids appear.
A medicament with a nozzle used for earwashing is prescribed:
- To soften and remove the sulfur plugs that appeared in the ears;
- As a means of preventing the appearance of sulfur plugs;
- as a means of hygiene in people who wear a hearing aid, a headset or headphones, and besides after a long stay in a dusty place.
A medicament for the throat is used:
- with acute inflammatory diseases, and in addition to infectious origin (such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis, and in addition adenoiditis and laryngitis);
- As part of the combined treatment of the throat in ARVI;
- in people who are in dry, dusty rooms or unfavorable climatic conditions, and besides those who suffer from dryness in the mucosa on the back of the throat wall.
Release form
Release of the medication is carried out in vials having a volume of 30 ml, and equipped with a special nozzle-sprayer. Inside the box there is one such bottle. The child's preparation includes an appropriate nozzle for the nose of small children. A separate nozzle is also used for cleaning the ears.
The medicine in the drops is produced in flacons with a capacity of 10 ml. Inside the pack - 1 bottle.
Aqua Maris Oto - is sold in flacons with a volume of 0.1 g.
Ointment, which is used for external processing, is produced in tubes of 10 g. The package contains 1 such tube.

Pharmacodynamics
The medication contains in its composition a saline sterilized liquid enriched with various types of ionic compounds.
Calcium and magnesium ions activate the activity of the ciliated epithelium. Selenium with zinc contribute to the production of antibodies, and in addition stimulate local immune cell impulses. Iodine with sodium chloride are antiseptics, and also stimulate the work of epithelial cells having a goblet structure.
Aqua Maris has a mild disinfecting and anti-inflammatory effect, gently softening the crusts and excreting the products of microbial activity. The drug also increases the effectiveness of the use of other drugs, reduces the likelihood of infection and stabilizes the production of sulfur or mucus inside the ENT organs.
The element of ectoin protects cells from tissues from dehydration, and besides it is a bioprotector with respect to the cellular membranes of the mucosa.
Essential oils contained in the salt composition for the processing of the sinuses have a disinfecting and softening effect.
Dexpanthenol activates the healing processes of the mucosa, stabilizes the metabolism and strengthens the strength of the cell walls.
The medicinal element used to treat the zone of the lips and near the nose, eliminates inflammation and, at the same time, softens the epidermis. It is very effective in the treatment of sinusitis or a cold.
Dosing and administration
The spray is administered by the intranasal method or through an external auditory meatus (if there is a corresponding nozzle).
Use the spray.
For a child of 2 years and an adult - 1-2 injections inside each nostril, 4 times a day. Also more frequent procedure is allowed.
Before the initial application it is necessary to make several injections idle - to equalize the pressure balance inside the vial. It must also be taken into account that the nebulizer functions exclusively with the vertical position of the can.
After completion of the procedure, wipe the spray nozzle using a damp cloth and cover the bottle with a lid.
Aerosol for the throat is used in 3-4 injections, 4-6 times a day. The head of the nebulizer must be directed to the back of the pharynx.
Ways of using drops.
Drops are often prescribed to newborns and infants less than 12 months of age. The size of the required dosage - 1-2 drops inside each of the nostrils; The procedure should be carried out 2-4 times a day. The duration of the treatment cycle is 14-30 days. After 1 month, this course is allowed to be repeated.
The medicinal substance is allowed to be digested or injected into the nasal passage until an excessive nasal secretion and congestion inside the nose is removed from it.
Usage mode Aquamaris Oto.
Medication is usually used to treat the external auditory canal. Use is allowed for children over 3 years of age. The substance is supposed to be used 2-3 times / 7 days, once a day. If there is an urgent need for its use, procedures can be conducted daily.
The procedure must be carried out over the bathroom or sink. It is required to tilt the head to the right side, insert the nozzle in the right ear (respectively, for the left one - to the left side), and click on it. The remaining liquid is wiped with a dry cloth.
Use of a medicinal ointment.
Ointment, which is intended for external processing, is used to apply to areas of the epidermis, which are constantly exposed to negative effects of frost or mechanical injuries. Before the procedure, it is required to cleanse the indicated area of the epidermis from dirt, and then wipe it dry.
Treatment with ointment should be done half an hour before going out. Also, just before leaving the house, it is recommended to soak the nose with lips with a napkin.
Use Aqua Marisa during pregnancy
Aqua maris is often prescribed during pregnancy, because it contains no preservatives, as well as harmful or toxic to the fetus elements. The sizes of portions and the scheme of using the medicament for lactation, as well as for pregnancy, do not differ from the standard mode of administration.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- the presence of intolerance in relation to any of the medicinal substances;
- frequent bleeding from the nose;
- the appearance of tumors in the nasal cavity;
- complete blockage of nasal passages.
Dosage nasal spray is prohibited in infants up to 12 months.
It is forbidden to prescribe Aquamaris Oto children younger than 3 years old - with acute otitis media or with exacerbation of otitis chronic.
Do not insert the nozzle tip deep inside the ear.
Shelf life
Spray Aqua Maris can be used within 36 months from the date of production of drugs, and nasal drops have a 2-year shelf life.
In this case, the opened bottle is allowed to be used no longer than 45 days after it was printed.

Application for children
Babies up to 12 months are required to prescribe drops that are used in newborns. This form of release is highly effective and safely eliminates a variety of contaminants in the nasal passages of infants.
In addition, this drug should be used to prevent or therapy of rhinitis in a small child.
