Aloe juice is a biogenic stimulant that has a general tonic, adaptogenic, choleretic, disinfectant, and laxative effect.
The drug helps improve the metabolism occurring inside the cells, and tissue restoration and trophism. In addition, it increases the systemic non-specific resistance of the body along with the resistance of the mucous membranes to the influence exerted on them by various damaging agents. [ 1 ]
Indications Aloe juice
It is used for gastroenteritis, chronic gastritis and enterocolitis (combined treatment). It is also prescribed in case of chronic constipation, which has a spastic or atonic nature.
Release form
The medicinal product is released in the form of a liquid for oral administration - in glass bottles with a capacity of 50 g. There is 1 such bottle inside the box.
Pharmacodynamics
The laxative properties of the indicated herbal medicine develop by enhancing peristalsis processes and irritating the intestinal mucous membranes. The therapeutic effect develops after 8-10 hours from the moment of its administration.
Aloe juice helps stimulate the protective properties of granulocytes. The drug demonstrates antimicrobial action against staphylococci, proteus with streptococci and some other pathogenic bacteria.
Along with this, the medicine helps to increase appetite.
Dosing and administration
The medicine should be taken orally - 1 teaspoon of juice (5 ml) before meals (20-30 minutes), 2-3 times a day. The entire treatment cycle lasts for 0.5-1 month.

Use Aloe juice during pregnancy
The drug is not prescribed in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Contraindications
Main contraindications:
- severe intolerance to the drug;
- cholelithiasis, chronic renal failure or cystitis;
- elevated blood pressure;
- haemorrhoids;
- metrorrhagia;
- CHF;
- inflammations affecting the digestive system (excluding diseases specified in the indications).
Side effects Aloe juice
The use of Aloe Juice can cause the development of negative manifestations, including hyperthermia, increased blood pressure and diarrhea. In addition, the drug can provoke the appearance of allergy symptoms.
Overdose
Signs of poisoning include bloody diarrhea and abdominal pain.
To eliminate an overdose, it is necessary to perform gastric lavage and prescribe enterosorbents to the patient. If blood appears in the feces, a 10% solution of KCl can be used (orally or intravenously). Then symptomatic procedures are performed.
Interactions with other drugs
Long-term use of Aloe Juice may reduce K levels in the body, which may potentiate the effects of antiarrhythmic drugs and CG.
Administration of the drug in combination with loop or thiazide diuretics, GCS or licorice substances increases the likelihood of potassium deficiency.
Aloe enhances the activity of laxatives, as well as drugs that stimulate hematopoietic processes.
Storage conditions
Aloe juice should be stored in dark places, out of reach of small children and moisture. Temperature indicators should be within 12-15°C.
Shelf life
Aloe juice can be used for a 2-year period from the date of production of the pharmaceutical product. The shelf life of an opened bottle is 1 month.
