Indications Allochol

Indications for use

  • These tablets for abdominal pain are used for chronic hepatitis, cholangitis, cholecystitis.
  • It is used for dyskinesia of the gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as for postcholecystectomy syndrome.
  • Indicated for use in atonic constipation.

Release form

Allochol is produced in tablets, which are covered with a shell, which has a color from yellow-green to orange. The surface of the tablet is biconvex. If the tablet is broken across, then in the fracture a core is found, which is surrounded by two layers of shells.

One tablet contains the following active ingredients: condensed bile or dry bile - eighty milligrams, dried garlic powder - forty milligrams, nettle leaves - five milligrams, activated carbon - twenty-five milligrams. The excipients in the tablet include a certain amount of magnesium oxide, potato starch, aerosil, calcium stearate, sugar, povidone, basic magnesium carbonate, titanium dioxide, talc, tropaeolin O or tartrazan, beeswax, vaseline oil.

The tablets for stomach pain are placed ten pieces per blister pack. Five such packs are placed in a cardboard box, supplied with an instruction leaflet.

Pharmacodynamics

Allochol improves the secretory function of liver cells, which leads to a moderate choleretic effect. Allochol stimulates the production of bile acids, and also increases the osmotic gradient between bile and blood. All of the above increases the filtration of water and electrolytes into the bile capillaries. The drug also accelerates the flow of bile through the bile ducts, which helps prevent the spread of ascending infections and reduces the activity of inflammatory processes. Allochol has the ability to reduce the precipitation of cholesterol, which is the prevention of stone formation in the gallbladder. Dry bile improves the process of cholatoformation, namely, taurocholic and deoxycholic acids present in its composition. A larger amount of bile released into the intestinal lumen leads to a reflex increase in secretion and motor activity in the digestive system, and also improves the quality of fat emulsification and the entire digestive process. Dry garlic powder inhibits fermentation processes in the intestinal tract, which helps eliminate the symptoms of flatulence.

Pharmacokinetics

Allochol has the quality of good absorption in the intestinal section of the digestive system, which leads to the fastest inclusion of its active components in the processes of hepatic-duodenal circulation. The metabolism of cholic and chenodeoxycholic acid is carried out in the intestine. Chenodeoxycholic acid is also metabolized in the liver. In this organ, it is conjugated with various amino acids, secreted into bile, with which it again enters the intestinal section, where it is partially reabsorbed, the other part of the acid is removed from the body with feces.

Interactions with other drugs
