Aquazolin is a medicine used to treat diseases affecting the nasal cavity.
Indications Aquazoline
It is used in therapy in the following cases:
- hygienic care of the nasal cavity, prevention and combined treatment of diseases in the area of the nasal mucosa and paranasal sinuses, in which dryness of the mucosa or mucus secretion is observed ( rhinitis of allergic, atrophic, medicinal or infectious origin);
- as an additional element when using local vasoconstrictors;
- to get rid of dry nasal mucosa, which develops due to the operation of central heating or air conditioners, and also during repeated flights;
- for the treatment of the nasal sinuses and cavities during the postoperative period.
Release form
The product is produced in 0.65% nasal drops, in 20 ml bottles equipped with a special dropper cap and a glass pipette. There is 1 such bottle inside the pack.
Pharmacodynamics
The medication moisturizes the nasal mucosa well, helps to liquefy excessively thick mucus and soften dry crusts that appear in the nose, which helps to remove them without problems.
Highly purified 0.65% NaCl solution, having a stabilized form, is as close as possible to natural nasal secretion. The buffer elements contained in Aquazolin bring the pH values of the drug closer to the pH level of the natural secretion of the nasal mucosa and maintain it within optimal limits.
The drug helps improve the olfactory function of the nose and the transport activity of the ciliated epithelium. It also helps restore breathing through the nose, reduces the duration of the rehabilitation period and makes it possible to reduce the portion size and frequency of use of local vasoconstrictors.

An adult is given 2 drops of the medicine, children over 12 months – 1-2 drops, and infants under 12 months – 1 drop in each nostril. The procedure is performed 3-4 times a day (for therapy) or 1-4 times a day (for hygiene).
