Neurotrophin is a medicinal substance that affects the work of NS. The drug has an effective antihypoxic activity, protects the cell walls along with the vessels, and in addition weakens the effects of free radicals on metabolic processes occurring inside the body.

In addition, the drug has a nootropic effect, eliminates the attacks of fear and anxiety, reduces the likelihood of seizures, and also protects the NA from a variety of external stresses.

Indications Neurotrophin

It is used for the following violations:

  • cerebral blood flow disorders with an acute or chronic degree of development;
  • DCE or NDC;
  • having a light degree of intensity, cognitive disorders arising from the development of atherosclerotic processes;
  • anxiety states developing as a result of neurosis-like disturbances and neuroses;
  • alcohol withdrawal;
  • acute neuroleptic poisoning;
  • having acute severity of inflammatory lesions of the peritoneum ( peritonitis or pancreatic necrosis).

Release form

The release of the pharmaceutical element is implemented in the form of injection fluid - ampoules with a volume of 2 ml; inside the cell plate - 5 ampoules. In the box - 2 such records.

Pharmacodynamics

The principle of the effect of the drug is based on the effect of the active element in relation to neural conduction; It significantly increases the body’s resistance to damaging factors. The drug increases resistance to hypoxia, shock, cerebral blood flow disorders, ischemia, alcohol poisoning, as well as the negative effects of antipsychotics (neuroleptics).

Neurotrophin helps to improve tissue metabolism within the brain, blood properties, as well as circulation within the vascular bed of the central nervous system. Positive effect on blood arises due to the normalization of the action of the walls of platelets with red blood cells, as well as the weakening of platelet aggregation.

The drug reduces the number of lipids inside the blood, as well as the values of LDL, VLDL and cholesterol. This effect of drugs is extremely important for people with atherosclerosis.

At the same time, Neurotrophin helps to reduce enzyme toxemia, as well as intraorganic poisoning, which appear during the development of pancreatitis in the acute stage.

The therapeutic effect of drugs develops due to its membrane-protective and antioxidant activity. The active component of the drug reduces oxidative lipid processes, increases the activity of superoxide oxidase and the ratio of proteins / lipids, and in addition reduces the viscosity of cell walls.

The drug activates the activity of membrane enzymes (calcium-independent PDE, AC and AChE) and endings (GABA, acetylcholine and benzodiazepine). Due to this, endings are synthesized with ligands, as well as improvement of the functions and structure of cell walls, and at the same time their organization and movement of NA intermediaries, as well as neuromuscular synapses through the endings.

At the same time, the drug increases the levels of dopamine inside the brain, activates the energetic activity of nerve cell mitochondria and helps improve glycolysis with oxygen.

Pharmacokinetics

The drug is required to apply the / m method. After such an introduction, the active component of the drug is noted inside the blood plasma over a 4-hour period. The Cmax values of the drug are recorded after 25-30 minutes and equal to 3.5-5 μg / ml with the size of the administered portion of 0.4-0.5 g

The high rate of intrahepatic and intrarenal metabolism leads to the excretion of the drug in an unchanged or glucuronide-conjugated state.

Dosing and administration

You can use the drug intravenously (streamed or through an IV) or intramuscularly. The portion size is selected by a medical professional, taking into account the patient’s personal characteristics, his pathology and degree of severity. Neurotropin begins to act approximately 1 hour after application.

With intravenous use of the drug, it is pre-dissolved in an isotonic liquid NaCl (0.2 l). With the introduction through the dropper, the speed is 40-60 drops per minute, and for the jet portion it is necessary to enter in 5-7 minutes.

Children should start therapy with a portion of 0.05-0.1 g 1-3 times a day. Further, the dosage volume is gradually increased until the desired result is obtained. The maximum allowable daily allowance is 0.8 g.

For strokes, the substance is used in the combined scheme - for the first 2-4 days, 0.2-0.3 g of the drug is used 1 times per day (intravenously through an IV or jet), and then administered intramuscularly - 3 times a day in portions 0, 1 year. The therapeutic course in the case of such disorders lasts 10-14 days.

In the severe stage of the DCE (decompensation stage), the drug is injected intravenously by the method (jet or via drip) - 0.1 g 2-3 times a day for 14 days. Next, Neurotrophin is administered intramuscularly - 0.1 g for a period of another 14 days. For the prevention of development of DCE, the substance is used intramuscularly - at 0.1-0.3 g per day for a period of 14-30 days.

In the case of alcohol withdrawal, the drug is used intramuscularly in a dose of 0.1-0.2 g, 2-3 times a day or through an IV drip, 1-2 times a day, for a period of 5-7 days.

With an acute form of intoxication with neuroleptics, it is required to use the medication in a dosage of 50-300 mg (w / w introduction), 1 time per day for 7-14 days.

In the event of acute lesions of a purulent-inflammatory nature in the area of the peritoneum (peritonitis, pancreatic necrosis, etc.), the medication is prescribed the day before and on the following day after the operation. The portion size is determined by the patient's condition, his personal characteristics, the properties of the pathology, and also the degree of its severity. The use of drugs in these cases should be stopped only after the onset of clinical recovery, as well as obtaining positive laboratory indications.

In lesions affecting the peritoneum, pulse therapy with Neurotrophin can also be used (except for standard therapy). In this case, it is required to inject 0.8 g of the substance per day for 2 applications per day, and then 0.3 g 2 times more per day, gradually reducing the serving size.

Use Neurotrophin during pregnancy

Testing was not performed regarding the effects of the drug on the body of nursing mothers or pregnant women. In this regard, in these periods, neurotropin is not used.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated to inject the drug with a strong sensitivity in relation to its constituent components, as well as disorders of renal or hepatic function.

It is extremely necessary to use the drug in asthma, or in the history of severe allergies, because in this case there may be pronounced immunological signs. In addition, the drug is carefully administered to people with diabetic retinopathy due to the risk of proliferative symptoms. For such disorders, the treatment cycle should last a maximum of 7-10 days.
