Indications Legalona
It is used for such disorders and diseases:
- in periods after suffering a toxic or infectious hepatitis, as well as hepatic injuries;
- drug or toxic (including alcoholic) hepatic lesions;
- having a different genesis of chronic hepatitis;
- liver diseases that have a metabolic-dystrophic form of development (among them fatty hepatosis);
- hepatic cirrhosis (prolonged use of drugs slows the progression of the disease);
- pathologies affecting the gallbladder and gallbladder (may have a different nature);
- pancreatitis in the chronic stage or in periods after the transfer of the acute form of this disease;
- disorders of fat metabolism, atherosclerosis and hyperlipoproteinemia (after prolonged treatment, the spread of these disorders slows down).
Release form
Pharmacodynamics
The drug has the following therapeutic properties:
- hepatoprotective - prevents the destruction of hepatocytes and toxic effects in their attitude;
- regenerating - helps restore liver cells;
- detoxification - removes toxins from the liver, and in addition free radicals (antioxidant effect);
- anti-inflammatory - inhibits inflammation occurring inside the liver.
Silymarin, which is a constituent element of milk thistle fruit extract, is an antioxidant compound of plant origin that has a healing effect on the liver. Milk thistle contains a large number of bioactive components, including several types of silymarin, and in addition silibinin (is an isomer of silymarin); they have hepatoprotective activity.
The effect of silymarin along with its isomers is based on the antioxidant activity of these components. They inhibit peroxide lipid oxidation, thereby preventing the destruction of hepatocyte membranes. Exposure to silymarin helps restore hepatocytes, activating the activity of intracellular enzymes. The element stimulates the processes of intracellular formation of phospholipids with proteins, which are the main components of cell walls. Strengthening these walls helps to preserve and quickly restore the activity of hepatocytes.
The active element prevents individual hepatotoxic poisons (for example, the toadstool poison) from penetrating into the hepatocytes. At the same time, silymarin inhibits the formation of PG - the main elements of inflammation processes (it has anti-inflammatory activity).
Mineral components (selenium with magnesium and potassium with copper), tocopherols and unsaturated fatty acids contained in the milk Thistle are capable of restoring cellular metabolism. The latter enhance the oxidation of cholesterol, thereby preventing the development of atherosclerosis.
Bioactive components of a medicinal plant have a positive effect on digestion, gastrointestinal tract and bile formation processes.
The therapeutic cycle using Legalon leads to improved health (reduced pain in the area of the right hypochondrium, epidermal itching, vomiting, weakness and appetite disorder) in people with hepatic diseases. However, improved and the testimony of laboratory tests, exploring hepatic activity.
Pharmacokinetics
It is impossible to fully determine how the medicine moves inside the body, because it contains too many bioactive components. But it was found that with oral administration of the drug, the intra plasma plasma Cmax is recorded after 0.5 hours.
Most of the drug is excreted in the bile in the form of metabolic products. The maximum excretion along with bile is noted after 120 minutes. When injected into the intestinal microflora medium, almost half of silymarin excreted with bile is again absorbed inside the intestine.
Dosing and administration
Drops with capsules are taken orally, swallowing whole and washed down with ordinary water. The use of drugs is not tied to the use of food. The size of the dosage portion, the frequency of use per day and the duration of the therapeutic cycle are selected by the attending doctor, taking into account the age and condition of the patient.
The use of 70 mg capsules.
Take 1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day. If therapy lasts a long time, it is enough to apply the medicine 2 times a day.
Children, taking into account the age group and state of health, use 0.5-1 capsules of drugs 3 times a day. If the course has a longer duration, the medication should be applied in the same portion, 2 times per day.
Use of 140 mg capsules.
It is required to apply 1 capsule of the drug 2-3 times per day. During a long cycle, a 2-fold drug intake is performed.
Usually therapy lasts at least 3 months, but this period may be longer.

Storage conditions
Legalon required to keep in place, closed from small children and penetration of sunlight. Temperature indicators - a maximum of 30 ° C.
