Orinol plus is a systemic drug with antihistamine and anti-edema activity. Used in the treatment of certain diseases affecting the nasal cavity.
Phenylephrine hydrochloride is an α-adrenomimetic.
Phenyltoloxamine citrate is a substance that blocks the action of histamine H1-terminations; also has anticholinergic and antihistamine properties.
The chlorphenamine component also blocks the activity of histamine H1-terminations, and in addition, it demonstrates an intense anti-exudative effect.
Release form
The release of the drug is made in capsules, 10 pieces inside the box.
Pharmacodynamics
Phenylephrine hydrochloride, exerting a vasoconstrictor effect, reduces mucosal edema in the upper part of the respiratory tract, as well as in the paranasal sinuses.
Phenyltoloxamine citrate reduces tearing, rhinorrhea and other manifestations of allergies and colds, which appear due to excessive exudation.
Chlorphenamine reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane of the respiratory ducts and removes signs such as sneezing, tearing, rhinitis, and nasal itching.
Use Orinola plus during pregnancy
Orinol plus is not used during breastfeeding and pregnancy.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications:
- strong sensitivity associated with medication elements;
- excessively elevated blood pressure;
- glaucoma of angle-closure;
- introduction together with MAOI.

Side effects Orinola plus
The main side signs are:
- systemic disorders: xerostomia, dry mucous throat and nose, and epidermal rashes;
- problems with the work of the cardiovascular system: tachycardia, headaches and a decrease in blood pressure indicators;
- Disorders of the function of the National Assembly: dizziness, convulsions, agitation or sedation, insomnia, severe nervousness and weakening of visual acuity;
- lesions associated with the gastrointestinal tract: anorexia, constipation, stomach discomfort, vomiting, diarrhea and nausea;
- disorders affecting the urogenital tract: delay or increased urination;
- respiratory disorders: hoarseness of breath, feeling of tightness inside the sternum and nasal congestion.

Orinol Plus can be used for a 24-month period from the time the therapeutic product is manufactured.
