Nebilong has antianginal, antiarrhythmic and antihypertensive properties.
Indications Nebilonga
It is used to lower high values of blood pressure, prevent the development of attacks of IHD or angina pectoris, as well as in complex therapy of CHF.
Release form

Pharmacodynamics
The drug is a cardioselective β1-adrenoblocker, which has a vasodilating effect. It blocks the activity of β1-adrenergic receptors and transforms the processes of production of the relaxing factor of the endothelium. Decrease in blood pressure is associated with a decrease in OPSS, BCC and cardiac output, as well as a slowing down of the formation of renin and a decrease in the sensitivity of baroreceptors.
Often, the antihypertensive effect of Nebilong occurs after 7-14 days, and the normalization of values occurs during the first month.
The medicine lowers heart rate during quiet state and loads, weakens the need of the heart muscle in obtaining oxygen, and besides it improves the level of diastolic filling, lowers the weight of the myocardium with its mass index and positively influences the daily rhythm of blood pressure values.
The drug has no effect on the metabolism of lipids.
Dosing and administration
Use the medication orally, in a dose of 2.5-5 mg per day (in the morning). If this is required, the dosage can be increased to 10 mg per day.
Elderly people first need to take 2.5 mg per day, and if there is a need to increase this dose to 5 mg of the substance.
