Etericid

The ekteritsid is an antiseptic, it belongs to the group of disinfectant drugs.

Indications of the etericide

It is used to treat:

• injuries and wounds after surgery;
• wounds, which are complicated by a purulent infectious process, or are subjected to slow granulation and do not heal for a long time;
• carbuncles with furuncles;
• osteomyelitis (fistulous form);
• various burns;
• ulcers trophic type, accompanied by suppuration.

Release form

Release in the form of an external solution, in bottles with a volume of 50 or 250 ml. Inside the package - 1 bottle with a solution.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug has antibacterial properties and acts on pyogenic microflora: on staphylococci, Escherichia coli, Proteus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Dosing and administration

The epidermis is applied topically, without diluting the solution. Can be used both in monotherapy and in combination with other drugs.

Infected wound sites are treated by washing with a solution. Next on the treated area apply the napkins from gauze, previously moistened in the medicine. It takes twice a day to flush until pus disappears. After this, the procedure is carried out one-time at intervals of 3-4 days, until the wound completely heals.

During the treatment of burns accompanied by infection, the solution (open method) should be used in combination with novocaine: add 10 ml of novocaine solution (0.5%) to 50 ml of Eccericide. It is required to treat the wound surface at intervals of 6-8 hours. If a closed method is used, burns must be applied two times a day in the dressing, soaked in a solution. It is required to irrigate the lower part of the dressing with the medicine, without removing it. The above procedure must be performed before the complete disappearance of pus.

When treating osteomyelitis after sequestrectomy procedure, it is necessary to tampon the damaged area using gauze wipes that were previously moistened in the drug solution. Wound dressings should be performed every 3-4 days.

During the removal of boils with carbuncles after the procedure for their dissection, as well as removal of pus weights, it is required to apply gauze moistened in the medicine to the damaged area of the skin. Carry out the procedure every day during the first 2-3 days, and then - once with intervals of 2-3 days.

Use of the etericide during pregnancy

There is no experience of using a drug in this group of patients, so it is recommended not to use it during pregnancy.
