Zelenina drops are a combined herbal medicine with sedative and antispasmodic properties.
Indications Zelenina drops
The medicine should be used for the following diseases:
- neurocirculatory dystonia;
- spasm of organs in the gastrointestinal tract;
- colic in the liver and kidneys;
- hyperacid gastritis;
- chronic cholecystitis;
- dysfunction of the biliary tract;
- high excitability.

Release form
Available in the form of drops. The volume of the dropper bottle is 15 or 25 ml. One package contains 1 bottle.

Pharmacodynamics
Belladonna leaves have antispasmodic and M-anticholinergic properties. Reduces the secretion of various glands (pancreas, sweat, salivary and bronchial, as well as gastric and lacrimal). Reduces muscle tone of the gastrointestinal tract, gall bladder and bile ducts. In addition, it increases AV conductivity. At the same time, it complicates the outflow of fluid inside the eyes, dilates the pupil, increases intraocular pressure.
Lily of the valley tincture has cardiotonic properties.
The rhizome of valerian has antispasmodic and sedative properties, thereby promoting natural sleep. The sedative effect begins slowly, but the effect is quite stable.
Menthol is a local irritant with analgesic, venotonic, antianginal and coronary dilating properties.
Use Zelenina drops during pregnancy
During lactation and pregnancy, treatment with this drug is carried out only under constant supervision of the attending physician. He must also determine the dose and duration of the treatment course.
Side effects Zelenina drops
Side effects from taking the drug may include the following reactions: heartburn, allergy, gastralgia, a feeling of drowsiness, paralysis of accommodation and vomiting with nausea. In addition, diarrhea, dilated pupils, muscle weakness, headaches and arrhythmia.

Overdose
If the recommended dosage is exceeded, the following symptoms may occur: dry mouth, dizziness, myasthenia, tachycardia attack, and accommodation paresis. Symptomatic therapy is used as treatment.
Interactions with other drugs
Zelenin drops increase the effect of sleeping pills, as well as drugs that suppress the activity of the central nervous system.
In case of combination of drops with antiarrhythmic drugs taken for treatment of tachycardia, the effectiveness of the latter decreases. In addition, drops enhance the properties of antispasmodics, as well as drugs prescribed for treatment of bradyarrhythmia.
Shelf life
It is recommended to use Zelenina drops for 2 years from the date of manufacture of the medicine.
