Venitant is an externally applied medicament of plant origin that has a venotonic effect.
Indications of the venitania
Applies to such violations:
- varicosity;
- venous insufficiency, against which there is a feeling of heaviness and pain in the legs, the appearance of nocturnal cramps (usually affect gastrocnemius muscles), edema on the legs and itching;
- feeling of heaviness in the legs due to prolonged standing, with heavy loads on the legs, and besides this due to pregnancy;
- edema in the soft tissue area, which appeared due to bruises, trauma to ligaments, and other similar injuries;
- infiltrates, resulting from the injection, as well as developing as a result of hematoma injuries - in order to facilitate the acceleration of their resorption processes.
Release form
The release takes place in the form of a gel, in a tube with a capacity of 50 g. The package contains 1 tube with gel.
Pharmacodynamics
The active element of the drug is escin, which is obtained from the esculus, inside which it resides in the form of a mixture of saponins of the triterpenic type. Separate mechanisms of the substance influence allow it to effectively eliminate the symptoms of varicose veins.
The anti-inflammatory effect, which is for the most part at the initial stage of the development of inflammation, is carried out by sealing the capillary membranes, which makes it possible to strengthen their strength. In addition, escin has a positive effect on venous tone and capillary fragility.
The combination of all these effects allows to weaken stagnation inside the venous bed and to reduce the accumulation of fluid inside the adjacent tissues. This prevents the development of pain and swelling.
Dosing and administration
Venitant is used exclusively externally. Apply a thin layer of gel - on the affected areas. It should be lightly rubbed into the skin. Use the drug should be 2-3 times a day.
If the medicine is used to relieve the symptoms of varicose veins, it is recommended to wear special compression products (such as tights, stockings or stockings).

Use of the venitania during pregnancy
There is no information on the presence of restrictions on the use of venitin in pregnant or lactating women. But before starting therapy, consult your doctor.
Contraindications
