Pharmacodynamics

The effect of phenylephrine hydrochloride leads to a decrease in hyperemia of the nasopharyngeal mucous membranes, paranasal sinuses and nasal cavity. In addition, the substance weakens local exudative symptoms, reduces edema and narrows the vascular lumen.

Pheniramine maleate exhibits antiserotonin, antihistamine, sedative, and weak cholinolytic activity; this substance blocks the activity of histamine H1 endings. The effect of the component leads to the elimination of edema and hyperemia of the mucous membranes, to the narrowing of the vascular lumen, the suppression of sneezing, rhinorrhea, eye and nasal itching, and also to a decrease in the intensity of allergy symptoms.

Paracetamol is a non-narcotic analgesic that has antipyretic, analgesic and mild anti-inflammatory effects.
