Talcid is an antacid. Contains a substance having a mesh-lamellar crystalline structure that includes a minimum amount of magnesium with aluminum.
Indications Talcid
The medication is indicated for patients suffering from ulcers or inflammations of the stomach and duodenum in acute or chronic form (gastritis or duodenitis, or peptic ulcer disease). In these diseases, the level of acidity of the gastric secretion also increases.
In addition, Talcid is used to treat disorders in the digestive system associated with improper diet or the use of drugs that have ulcerogenic properties.
Also, the drug is used in the complex treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease, and in addition, in case of heartburn, eructations and feelings of overcrowding and heaviness in the stomach.

Produced in the form of chewable tablets, which are packed in blisters (10 pcs.). One bundle contains 2 blister plates.

Pharmacodynamics
The drug contains the substance hydrotalcite - antacid 3rd generation. The drug allows you to quickly and for a long time to lower the level of acidity of the gastric secretion to the required natural value of 3-5 units, without causing increased alkalization of gastric contents.
The drug has gastroprotective properties, which are created as a result of long-term binding of hydrochloric acid and pepsin, and in addition to this activation of the protective functions of the stomach.

Pharmacokinetics
In the case of internal administration of the drug in therapeutic dosages, no significant changes in the concentration of magnesium and aluminum in the plasma have been observed. The active substance of Talcida is almost not absorbed through the digestive tract.
In the case of treatment with Talcid (including long-term), changes in the parameters of peripheral blood were also not noted. Do not change the parameters of hematocrit, hemoglobin, as well as urea, sugar, leukocytes, and in addition to this calcium and potassium ions.
Dosing and administration
The drug is administered orally - the tablet should be chewed and then washed with water. Take the medicine should be 1-2 hours after eating or if there are signs of increased acidity, regardless of eating. The duration of the course, as well as the dosage is prescribed by the attending physician.

Contraindications

Interactions with other drugs

Storage conditions
