Methods of using potato starch:

  3. In a glass of warm water, dilute 2 tablespoons of starch. Take until the complete elimination of painful symptoms. Instead of water, you can use a decoction of chamomile or mint.

Starch with iodine

Another alternative remedy for eliminating diarrhea is iodine starch. To prepare the medicine, take the following ingredients:

  • 50 ml of warm water.
  • A teaspoon with a potato starch slide.
  • ½ teaspoon of sugar and lemon juice.

Dissolve starch in warm water and add the remaining ingredients. Once the solution has completely cooled, add 150 ml of boiling water to it and stir it gently. Again wait for cooling and add a teaspoon of 5% iodine (alcohol tincture).

Boil 300 ml of water, cool a little and enter into a starch solution. Bring the mixture to a boil and cool. Add a teaspoon of iodine and stir until a blue color is obtained. The resulting kissel should be used in small portions throughout the day.
  2. Dissolve two teaspoons of starch in 100 ml of water and mix thoroughly. Boil a glass of water and enter into it a starch solution. In the finished kissel, add a teaspoon of iodine. The product should be cooled in a dark cool place and taken 2-3 times a day in equal portions.

Also, there are iodine-containing products that enhance the effect of alternative recipes and contribute to the normalization of the bowel. The most useful and rich in iodine content are: fish hake, salmon, flounder, shrimp, tuna and catfish.

Treatment with iodine is contraindicated in diseases of the cardiovascular system and the thyroid gland. Alternative drugs are not recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation, in the menstrual period, for the treatment of children, as well as in combination with potassium permanganate and medicinal preparations.
