Release form

The release is carried out in a tablet form, in an amount of 10 pieces inside the blister pack. The box contains 1 such package.

Pharmacodynamics

The active element of the drug, the decamethoxin component, is a representative of the category of ammonium compounds and has a powerful antiseptic effect. Influencing cells of bacteria located on mucous membranes, this component changes their strength.

Decamethoxin has a very wide range of antimicrobial therapeutic activity (including gnomethorn cocci, diphtheria corynebacteria, enterobacteria, staphylococci with pseudomonas, viruses, sporebacteria, yeast-like fungi, protozoan microbes and dermatomycetes). The use of septefril inhibits the formation of decamethoxin-resistant bacterial forms.

The use of the drug as part of combination therapy leads to the potentiation of the effects of other antimicrobial drugs. Septefril exerts a fungicidal, bactericidal and sporicidal effect on bacterial cells. The development of maximum drug efficacy is observed after 7-10 minutes after applying the medication. The exposure persists for a minimum of 1 hour.

Dosing and administration

The tablets should not be swallowed or chewed, they must be completely absorbed.

For an adult, a medication is prescribed in a dosage of 4-6 tablets per day, and for a child (over 5 years old) - a dose of 3-4 tablets per day.

This treatment course lasts no more than 3-4 days (for adults and children), but sometimes it is allowed to prolong it until the 1st week.

Use Septile during pregnancy
