Pharmacodynamics

Revit is a combined vitamin product, the effect of which is determined by its constituent elements.

Retinol helps regulate the processes of carbohydrate and protein metabolism.

Riboflavin plays one of the most important roles during the implementation of carbohydrate, protein and lipid metabolism. At the same time, it helps to ensure the proper functioning of vision.

Ascorbic acid is involved in oxidation-reduction processes, blood clotting, and carbohydrate metabolism. At the same time, it promotes tissue healing.

Dosing and administration

The medicine must be taken orally, 15 minutes after eating.

As a preventive measure, adults should take 1 tablet 2 times a day. If the drug is to be taken for treatment, the dosage is 2 tablets, which are taken three times a day. Pregnant women should take 1 tablet per day in the 1st trimester, and no more than 2 tablets per day in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

For prevention, adolescents aged 11 and over are prescribed 1 tablet per day. For therapy, children aged 3-10 are prescribed 2 tablets per day, and adolescents aged 11-14 are prescribed 3 tablets per day.

Contraindications

Among the contraindications:

  • children under 3 years of age;
  • hypersensitivity to the active substances of the drug;

  • glomerulonephritis in the chronic stage;
  • disorder of iron and copper metabolism processes;
  • hypervitaminosis category A.

Side effects Revita

Taking pills can cause the development of the following side effects:

  • skin lesions: development of urticaria, rashes, itching, and also the appearance of redness on the surface of the skin;
  • signs from the nervous system: headaches, hyperhidrosis, feeling of drowsiness or excitability, as well as dizziness;
  • symptoms affecting the digestive function: the appearance of vomiting, signs of dyspepsia, nausea, and in addition diarrhea;

Overdose

Interactions with other drugs

It is forbidden to combine Revit with other multivitamin products, as this may cause intoxication.

Retinol significantly reduces the anti-inflammatory effect of GCS. The drug cannot be combined with cholestyramine, as well as nitrates - due to the fact that they interfere with the absorption of retinol.

Retinol cannot be combined with retinoids, because this significantly increases the toxicity of the drugs.

Ascorbic acid significantly increases the toxic effect of penicillin on the body, as well as sulfonamides. In addition, it promotes iron absorption and reduces the effectiveness of heparin and indirect anticoagulants.

Riboflavin has poor compatibility with the substance streptomycin, and at the same time reduces the effect of certain antibacterial drugs (among them tetracycline with doxycycline, as well as erythromycin, and in addition lincomycin with oxytetracycline).

Tricyclics, imipramine, and amitriptyline inhibit the metabolic processes of the substance riboflavin.

Storage conditions

Revit should be kept away from small children. Temperature conditions - do not exceed 25°C.

Revit can be used for 1 year from the date of release of the vitamin complex.
