Release form

The release is carried out in the form of a syrup, in bottles with a volume of 120 ml. Inside one pack of medicine contains 1 bottle complete with a measuring lid.

Pharmacodynamics

Levodropropizin - from cough drug, which has mainly a peripheral effect, which allows it to reduce the intensity and frequency of coughing attacks and have a bronchodilator effect. The drug differs from other antitussive drugs in that it does not cause dependence or development of tolerance. The impact on the central nervous system is significantly weaker than that of the substance dropropizin.

The effectiveness of the active component is associated with the inhibition of the sensitivity of the conductors within the bronchial tree. The properties of the drug are determined during clinical trials - its effectiveness exceeds the indicator of 90%.

The substance levodropropizin affects the body at the level of nerve conductors, slowing the transmission of nerve impulses inside the C-fibers. Oppresses the release of neuropeptides (among them the substance P and others), and along with this histamine, as a result of which it is possible to obtain a significant bronchodilator effect.

Pharmacokinetics

Ledvropropizin undergoes rapid absorption within the digestive system, reaching a peak of plasma parameters 1.5-2 hours after ingestion. The half-life is approximately 4-5 hours.
