Pask has an active antibacterial effect (has a medicinal effect against mycobacteria).

The drug demonstrates an active bacteriostatic effect on M. tuberculosis bacteria. The action of this drug develops by inhibiting the processes of mycobactin formation, and in addition, it occurs by suppressing the processes of B9-vitamin formation. Due to this, the capture of M. tuberculosis microbes by iron is noticeably weakened.
