Neo-angin is a medicine with a powerful and intensive disinfectant effect. In addition, it has a moderate anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect.
The components of the therapeutic agent are special essential oils that improve microcirculation processes inside the mucous membranes of the oropharynx, and at the same time facilitate respiratory activity. These medicinal effects allow for an increase in the speed of the patient's recovery process.
Indications Neo-angina
It is used in the treatment of people with inflammatory and infectious lesions in the oropharynx area. Among these are stomatitis, tonsillitis, gingivitis, and also oral candidiasis, laryngitis, sore throat and pharyngitis.
In addition, it can be used to prevent infection after procedures performed in the oropharynx area, as well as after tooth extraction.
Release form
The medicinal substance is released in tablets - 8 pieces inside a cell pack (1 pack inside a box), as well as 12 pieces inside a blister pack (2 or 4 packs inside a box).
Pharmacodynamics
The active ingredients of the medicine have fungicidal and bactericidal activity. For example, the medicine has an effect on gram-negative and -positive aerobes with anaerobes, as well as yeast-like fungi.
Levomenthol has an analgesic effect.
Thanks to the use of drugs, the need for the use of general antibiotics in individuals with infections of the oropharynx that have an inflammatory-infectious nature (in the active phase) is reduced.
Dosing and administration
The tablets of the drug must be dissolved in the mouth. It is forbidden to take the medicine before meals.
Often patients are prescribed to take 1 tablet at 2-3 hour intervals. It is allowed to take 6-8 tablets per day (maximum dosage).
The medicine should be taken for a maximum of 4 days in a row (a different duration of therapy can only be prescribed by the attending physician).

Use Neo-angina during pregnancy
The medicine can be used during pregnancy (but only with a doctor's prescription and for a short period of time).
Contraindications
Contraindicated for use in case of severe intolerance to the components of the drug.
Because the medication contains sucrose, it is prohibited for use by diabetics or people with fructose malabsorption, as well as people on a low-calorie diet.
Side effects Neo-angina
Overdose
In case of poisoning with the drug, epigastric pain and discomfort appear, as well as vomiting, headaches and nausea.
In case of overdose, no special therapy is needed – you just need to stop taking the medication.
Storage conditions
Neo-angin must be stored at temperatures no higher than 25°C.
Shelf life
Neo-angin is allowed to be used for a period of 2-3 years from the date of sale of the medicinal substance.
Application for children
Neo-angin is not used in persons under 6 years of age.
