It is used for the following diseases and disorders:
- VSD ;
- alcohol abstinence, in which neurosis-like and vascular disorders are noted;
- disturbances having a nervous nature;
- cognitive impairment arising from psychoorganic and asthenic syndrome, triggered by poisoning, neuroinfection, cerebral circulatory disorder, or senile or atrophic manifestations;
- stress effect;
- problems with memory and mental abilities in the elderly.
Injection fluid can be prescribed to correct cerebral blood flow disorders (acute stages), cognitive impairment of atherosclerotic origin, and for the treatment of CTE.
Release form
The release of the drug is sold in tablets of 125 mg, 10 pieces per cell plate. The pack is placed on the 1st, 2, 3, 4 or 6 plates.
It is also produced as an injection liquid, inside ampoules with a capacity of 2 or 5 ml, 20, 50 or 100 pieces each inside the box, along with a knife designed to open cells with ampoules.
Pharmacodynamics
Because the drug is an antioxidant from the heteroaromatic subgroup, it has a large range of activity. The drug increases the stress resistance of the body. During its use, an anxiolytic effect develops, which is not accompanied by the appearance of drowsiness or muscle relaxant effects.
Along with this, the drug weakens and prevents the occurrence of learning and memory disorders, has anticonvulsant and nootropic activity in the elderly. Its antioxidant antihypoxic effects increase concentration and performance, and in addition reduce the negative toxic effects of alcohol to a minimum.
The drug has a positive effect on the brain tissue and systemic circulation, stimulating blood microcirculation and platelet aggregation. The powerful hypolipidemic effect of meciprim contributes to the reduction of cholesterol levels
After penetration into the body, the medicament rapidly undergoes metabolic processes and is converted into glucuron-conjugated metabolic elements.
Dosing and administration
Tablets are required to be taken orally, in portions, which the physician personally selects to the patient (considering all the features of the organism), 2-3 times per day. It is necessary to begin therapy with the portion, a component of 250-500 mg. During the day it is recommended to use no more than 800 mg of the drug substance.
The duration of the treatment cycle depends on the intensity of the pathology and its type, as well as on the severity of the patient's condition, and can vary within 5 days / 6 weeks. It is necessary to reduce the dosage portion gradually, over the last 2-3 days of the therapeutic cycle.
Injections of the drug are performed intravenously (struino or via an IV) or intramuscularly, 1-3 times a day. The size of the dose of drugs is chosen individually for each individual. If the medication is administered via infusion, it is pre-dissolved in the NaCl fluid. Usually for the first shots a dose of no more than 0.1 g is required, and then it is gradually increased.
The duration of the treatment cycle with the use of injection fluid is determined by the state of health of the patient and the intensity of the disease. Usually it lasts within 7-30 days.
Use Mexico during pregnancy
Mexiprim should not be given to breastfeeding or pregnant women.
Side effects Mexico
