Indications Macmirror Complex

Among the indications for use are vaginal infections, provoked by bacteria that are sensitive to the properties of the drug. Among them:

• urogenital trichomoniasis;
• thrush;
• bacterial infections in the urogenital area;
• infections caused by chlamydia (local therapy).

Produced in the form of vaginal candles. On one blister pack contains 8 or 12 suppositories. In one pack - 1 blister.

Pharmacodynamics

Nifuratel is a 5-nitrofuran derivative having fungicidal and antimicrobial properties. It is an oxygen acceptor that can destroy the respiration of microbial cells, and in addition it can reduce the activity of individual respiratory enzymes of cells, resulting in pathogenic microbes. The intracellular nitro group of this substance is restored, as a result of which it acquires cytotoxic properties. The combination of these actions allows nifuratel to be active in relation to aerobes, as well as fungi of the genus Candida. Also, nitrofurans inhibit the synthesis of nucleic acids, thus preventing the replication of DNA and RNA (but to a much lesser extent) of microbes.

Nystatin is an antibiotic with anti-mycotic properties. It operates as follows - competitively replaces the sterol structures in the fungal plasmalemma. As a result, the cell membrane loses its protective properties, which leads to its death.

Since the drug has a low level of toxicity and highly selective antimicrobial activity, its use does not cause the development of vaginal dysbiosis.

Dosing and administration

Suppositories must be injected into the vagina one at a time. It is best to perform the procedure in the evening, before going to bed. The treatment course lasts 8 days. In some cases, the attending physician can adjust the dosage, as well as the duration of the course.
