Lepthandra compositum is a combination drug whose therapeutic activity is due to the action of the medicinal elements that are part of its composition.

The drug helps regulate the motility of the gastrointestinal tract, and at the same time has a pronounced anti-inflammatory, choleretic, antiemetic, as well as detoxifying and cholekinetic effect. In addition, the drug Leptandra compositum helps stabilize the digestive system of the body.

Indications Leptandra compositum

It is used in the combined treatment of dyspeptic disorders (nausea with heartburn, pain affecting the epigastrium, and bloating ) associated with pathologies affecting the gallbladder and liver.

Release form

The drug is released in the form of drops for oral administration. The pack contains 1 dropper bottle with a capacity of 30 ml.

Dosing and administration

The medication is prescribed in the amount of 10 drops, 3 times a day. It should be taken before eating (15-20 minutes) or after (60 minutes). The drops are pre-diluted in plain water (10 ml). The solution should be drunk, holding it in the mouth for a few seconds before swallowing. It is also allowed to simply drop the drug under the tongue, without preliminary dilution.

In case of acute disorders, initially take a single dose of the medication at half-hour/hourly intervals (up to 12 times a day), and later switch to a 3-time dose.

The duration of the treatment cycle is selected individually by the attending physician.

Use Leptandra compositum during pregnancy

The medication should not be prescribed during breastfeeding or pregnancy.

Contraindications

Contraindicated for use in patients with intolerance to any of the components of the drug.

Storage conditions

Lepthandra compositum can be used for a 5-year period from the date of production of the medicinal substance. The shelf life of an opened bottle is no more than six months.

Application for children

The use of Leptandra compositum in pediatrics (individuals under 12 years of age) is prohibited.
