Many people face the problem of calluses, which are caused by increased friction of the skin of the feet in the form of blisters. For prevention purposes, it is recommended, first of all, to wear suitable shoes, as well as to cover potentially rubbed areas with a plaster or use a callus pencil, which, by reducing friction, helps protect the skin from their appearance. Indications blister pencils
In fact, there is only one indication for using this foot skin care product: to reduce the likelihood of getting a callus if your shoes are not very comfortable (and you have to walk in them all day) or your feet swell (especially in hot weather). In such situations, a pencil is used to protect against calluses.
Release form
Many names of callus pencils contain the word "stick": from the English stick - a stick, since, for the most part, all of them are of foreign manufacture. In addition, they are all analogs and differ slightly only in the set of components.
Compeed Anti-Blister Stick (manufactured by Johnson & Johnson) reduces skin friction due to the hydrogenated vegetable oil, stearyl alcohol (fatty alcohol 1-octadecanol), octyldodecanol (a substance that moisturizes and softens the skin of the foot) contained in its composition.
The Avon Foot Works Blister Defense Stick pencil contains paraffin, petroleum jelly, ozokerite, silica (silicon dioxide), shea butter, and vitamin E. The Polish-made Dermo Pharma Express Repair Foot pencil contains mineral oil, unsaturated fatty acids, synthetic beeswax, and a vitamin complex.
Deliplus foot pencil for calluses and chafing (made in Spain) contains vaseline oil, synthetic beeswax, aloe extract, shea butter, C10-18 triglycerides (softening emollients).
Medifeet callus pencil contains hydrogenated castor oil, vegetable (candelilla) wax, cetyl palmitate (film-forming and moisturizing vegetable spermaceti), fatty cetostearyl alcohol (emulsifier), skin-softening caprylic triglycerides, shea butter, panthenol, vitamin E.

Anti-callus pencils are used locally: by applying a thin continuous layer to the skin area (15-20 minutes before putting on shoes).
