Kamagel is a medicine for eliminating dermatological diseases.

Indications Camagel

It is used to treat mild skin inflammations that develop in the following cases:

  • due to prolonged exposure to sunlight;
  • in case of heavy sweating or moistening of skin folds;
  • as a result of bites from various insects;
  • for burns left by jellyfish;
  • due to irritation that occurs after shaving.

In addition, the medicine can be used to treat bruises and sprains, as well as to eliminate swelling caused by blows.

Release form

It is released in the form of a gel, in tubes of 40 g. Inside the pack there is 1 tube of gel.

Pharmacodynamics

Aluminum acetotartrate has a local effect, acting as an antiseptic, and also has soft astringent properties. At the treatment site, its use causes protein coagulation, forms a protective layer on the skin, strengthens capillaries and reduces exudation, the development of infectious and inflammatory processes. Flavones with essential oil, which are components of chamomile extract, also reduce inflammation and have a moderate disinfectant effect.

The active components of the drug synergistically reduce swelling, pain and inflammation, as well as itching, which develop with various types of dermatitis, as well as as a result of sunburn, increased sweating or constant exposure to water, as well as due to a jellyfish burn or an insect bite, etc.

Pharmacokinetics

There is no information on the absorption of aluminum components into the body when applied locally. The absorption of aluminum ions through healthy skin is very weak. Chamomile flavones, especially apigens with luteolin, penetrate well into the skin.

Dosing and administration

To reduce the inflammatory process on the skin, it is necessary to treat the affected area with a thin layer of gel several times a day.

To remove sprains, swelling and bruises, it is necessary to apply a thick layer of medicine, and then apply a bandage to the damaged area.

The duration of the therapeutic course is prescribed for each patient individually.
