Pharmacodynamics

"Cat's claw" is a tree-like liana growing in Peruvian forests. The substance has anti-inflammatory, antihypertensive, adaptogenic, analgesic, immunomodulating, as well as antioxidant activity. In addition, it slows down the process of proliferation of tumors.

For use in modern medicine using powdered extract formed from the bark of such lianas. It contains all the bioactive components of the plant: penta-as well as tetracyclic oxyindole alkaloids, and in addition polyphenols with phenols, triterpenes and glycosides contained in quinic acid, with steroids.

Oxydolic alkaloids with a cat's claw (pteropodin) They can also slow down the activity of MAO and have a muscle relaxant and vasodilating effect.

The phenolic group includes catechins (appear as epicatechins) with proanthocyanidins. Epicatechins have a powerful antioxidant, anti-mutagenic and P-vitamin effects. Leuco-cyanides increase the sensitivity of neoplastic cells with respect to ionizing radiation, due to which the effectiveness of radiotherapy in people with oncology increases.

At the same time, the proanthocyanidinamines inhibit the enzymatic processes of reduction-oxidation inside the tumor cells (they demonstrate antitumor activity). Also, epicatechins also have antiviral (this includes herpes simplex viruses with hepatitis), anticoagulant and antihistamine effects.

Glycosides contained in quinic acid cause the development of antiviral effect, and triterpene-type saponins have antisclerotic, antibacterial, and antitumor effects.

Campestrol with stigmasterol (steroids) leads to the development of analgesic and antibacterial effects, and with it promotes hair growth.

Dosing and administration

Selection of dosage is made personally. Children older than 6 years of age and adults are prescribed the drug on the 1st capsule 1-fold per day (recommended in the morning), half an hour before meals; you need to drink medicine with a 0.5-1 glass of plain water. Therapy should last 2-3 months, with 5-7 days break after each of the months.

If necessary, taking into account the severity of the disease, it is allowed to increase the daily portion to 3-6 capsules.

For the prevention of diseases assigned the use of the 1st capsule in a day over a 2-3-month cycle.

Use Inunoflama during pregnancy

There is no information regarding the use of Imunoflama when breastfeeding or pregnancy, because it is not prescribed to such patients.

Contraindications
