Surgical hand disinfection.

It is necessary for healthcare workers to treat their hands to remove acquired pathogenic flora (temporary), as well as common skin bacteria (permanent microflora).

Before using the medicine, you need to wash your hands and then dry them. After that, rub the substance in small doses into the dry skin on your forearms and hands for 60 seconds (3 ml of the medicine is needed for the procedure). The epidermis should remain moisturized throughout the entire procedure.

Hygienic disinfection of hands.

Hygienic procedures are carried out to eliminate temporary microbial flora.

Before conducting an examination or any manipulations, you need to wash your hands using a detergent, and then dry them. After that, 3 ml of the medicine is applied to dry skin and rubbed in for half a minute. After completing the examination/manipulation procedure:

  • if there is no heavy contamination on the hands, it is necessary to moisturize the dry skin with Hospisept (to do this, use at least 3 ml of the substance) and rub the medicine in for half a minute;
  • If the hands were heavily soiled, it is necessary to remove such dirt using special Hospisept wipes. After this, a disinfectant treatment is performed, during which 3 ml of the preparation is rubbed into the skin for 0.5 minutes.

Disinfection treatment of the epidermis.

After performing hygienic disinfection, you should wash your hands using a detergent.

The area of the patient's epidermis that needs to be disinfected must be completely moistened with the solution and allowed to dry. The exposure time is at least 15 seconds; epidermis rich in sebaceous glands requires at least 10 minutes.
