Homoviocoryne-N is a combined medication of homeopathic origin.
Indications Homvokorin-N
It is used for combined therapy in CHF (1-2-nd functional stage).
Release form
The release is realized in drops for ingestion. The bottle has a capacity of 50 ml and is equipped with a dropper. Inside the pack - 1 bottle.
Pharmacodynamics
The medication is used in the treatment of CHF. Its composition contains plant-based cardiac glycosides:
- adonis spring (strophanthin) - glycosides from the category of cardenolides;
- May lily of the valley (Convalatoxin);
- drimia seaside (scylarene-A with proscilaridin-A) - a category of bufadienolides.
The maximum allowable daily portion of the medicament contains about 0.9 mg of the active substance.
Cardiotonic influence develops due to a positive inotropic effect due to blocking of K + / Na + -ATPase activity , as well as changes in the indices of Ca ++ ions inside cells. In addition, there is a direct effect on cardiomyocyte contractile proteins (such as actin-myosin).
Negative chronotropic effects develop due to the suppression of the automatism of the sinus node.
Positive batmotropnoe influence is expressed quite weakly - due to the fact that seaweed is used in small portions.
The natriuretic and diuretic effect develops in connection with the improvement of hemodynamic processes inside the kidneys, as well as their secretory function (by reducing tubular reabsorption and sodium secretion), with the participation of the glycosides and goldenrod described above.
Antioxidant and membrane stabilizing influence develops under the influence of the hawthorn contained in the medicine.
Dosing and administration
In the treatment of chronic forms of the disease, an initial dose of 10-20 drops is used, with a 1-3-fold intake per day. It is also possible to increase the dosage to 30 drops with a 3-fold use per day. The duration of the treatment cycle is selected individually, but it should last at least 2-3 months. At the end of this period, a transition to the maintenance dose, which is 10 drops, is carried out with 1-fold consumption per day or every other day. It is necessary to take a maintenance dosage for a long time.
To use drops follows for half an hour before a meal, or half an hour after it. Drops can be impregnated with a piece of bread or sugar, then slowly dissolve it. You can also drink a dose of the substance with water, trying to keep the medicine in your mouth for as long as possible.
Use Homvokorin-N during pregnancy

Contraindications

Overdose
When an overdose of the drug can occur alcohol intoxication. Receiving the contents of the entire vial of drug (50 ml) is equivalent to taking 22 grams of alcohol.
Interactions with other drugs
Homoviocoryne-N is capable of potentiating the properties of sedatives, hypnotics, antiarrhythmics, and antihypertensive agents.
It is forbidden to combine the medicine with SG.
The use of tonic drinks (such as coffee or tea) and alcohol, and besides smoking, can lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the homeopathic drug.
Storage conditions
