Pharmacodynamics
Hepatoprotective effect of drugs develops through a combination of elements that are included in its composition. The unique combination of composite components and its manufacturing technology provide the drug with choleretic, detoxifying, metabolic, antioxidant, and venotonic activity.
The drug eliminates stagnant symptoms inside the portal vein and liver, and with it stabilizes lipid metabolism with carbohydrates. Hepar compositum should be used for liver diseases and disorders of the liver detoxification activity, and also for lesions of the internal organs and the epidermis.

Dosing and administration
Often the injection of the drug is administered 1-3 times per week in the amount of the 1st ampoule, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intracutaneously. For acute disorders, intravenous injections can be administered (daily). The therapeutic cycle for acute forms of pathologies lasts a maximum of 5 weeks, and for chronic ones - for 1-2 months.
Hepar compositum can also be used in the form of so-called “drinking ampoules” - the liquid from the ampoule is added to 0.1 l of plain water, after which this mixture is drunk throughout the day. This procedure is carried out 1-2 times a week.
At the initial stage of therapy with homeopathic medicines, a temporary aggravation of the manifestations of the disease is possible.
