It is used for bloating or intestinal spasms, and in addition (as part of a combination treatment) for the treatment of inflammatory diseases affecting the respiratory system (bronchitis or tracheitis).

Pharmacodynamics

The bioactive elements of medicinal fruits have antispasmodic, secretolytic, and also antimicrobial, carminative and weak diuretic properties.

Dosing and administration

To prepare the tincture, pour 1 tablespoon of the medicine with boiled hot water (0.2 l), then cover the container with the preparation with a lid and leave the resulting mixture to infuse in a water bath for ¼ hour. Then cool the medicine for another ¾ hour, then filter the finished mixture and squeeze out the remainder. After this, you need to bring the volume of the tincture to 0.2 l using boiled water.

The medicine should be taken warm, 3-4 times a day. Shake the tincture before taking. Serving sizes:

  • An adult and a teenager over 14 years old need to drink 1/3 of a glass;
  • the age category 10-14 years requires a quarter of a glass of LS;
  • children aged 7-10 years need 2 tablespoons;
  • children aged 3-7 years are prescribed 1 dessert spoon;
  • small children (0.5-3 years) are given 1 teaspoon of the medicine.

The duration of the treatment cycle is determined by the attending physician.

Use Fennel fruit during pregnancy

Should not be prescribed to pregnant women. Fennel fruits increase lactation in breastfeeding mothers.

Storage conditions

Shelf life

Fennel fruits can be used within 36 months from the date of manufacture of the drug. The finished tincture has a shelf life of maximum 2 days.

Application for children

The use of drugs in infants under six months is prohibited.
