Extratherm is a combination product used to treat colds and coughs.
Indications Extraterma
It is used to eliminate cough symptoms (especially if there are problems with expectoration) in respiratory pathologies - for example, bronchogenic pneumonia, bronchitis, and also tracheitis.

Pharmacodynamics
Extratherm has anti-inflammatory, as well as antitussive and mucolytic effects on the body.
The substance thermopsis potentiates the secretory function of the bronchial glands. The alkaloids it contains (such as methylcytisine with cytisine, and also thermopsin with pachycarpine and thermopsidin, as well as anagyrine) have a stimulating effect on the work of the respiratory center.
Sodium bicarbonate activates secretion processes within the bronchial glands, thereby helping to reduce the viscosity of sputum.
Dosing and administration
The medicine for teenagers over 12 years old, as well as adults, is prescribed in a dosage of 1 tablet, taken 3-4 times a day.
Before use, it is recommended to dissolve the medicine in warm water (a quarter of a glass) or wash it down with the specified amount of liquid. The duration of the course is determined by the doctor - it depends on the obtained medicinal result and the course of the pathology.
Children aged 6-12 years should take 0.5-1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The medicine should first be dissolved in water (a quarter of a glass).
