Pharmacodynamics

The chemical structure of salbutiamine is very similar to thiamine; the difference is the presence of an additional disulfide compound, an open-type thiazole ring, and a lipophilic ester. Such changes in the chemical composition caused the emergence of additional characteristics: salbutiamine is fat soluble, due to which it is able to penetrate the BBB. 

Pharmacokinetics

The drug is fully and at high speed absorbed inside the digestive tract; it reaches Cmax indicators after 1-2 hours from the moment of the use inside.

Excretion of Enerion is implemented mainly with urine; the term half-life equals 4.5-5 hours.

Dosing and administration

Apply the drug to 2-3 tablets per day, dividing the daily portion of 2 use. Tablets need to be swallowed whole, washed down with plain water, along with breakfast and lunch, but not with dinner.

The therapeutic cycle is determined by the patient's condition and is selected individually; it must last at least 20 days.
