Diclogene exhibits potent anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity. Antipyretic effect of drugs is expressed rather weakly.

Indications Diclofen
It is used for articular pathologies such as gout, ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. The drug is used in the case of diseases of the musculoskeletal system (post-traumatic, degenerative or chronic) - sprains, osteochondrosis, bruises and periarthropathy.
Diclogen shows efficacy in the case of neuralgia, colic, migraine, adnexitis, proctitis, pain of various origins, developing in the zone of muscles, joints, ENT system and the spine, as well as in postoperative pain.
The medication can be prescribed to prevent miosis during ophthalmologic operations associated with cataract or macular edema of cystoid character after the removal or implantation of the lens, as well as in the case of inflammation that occurs when the eye is injured (penetrating or not). The drug should be used for ophthalmic pathologies with inflammatory and non-infectious etiology.
Release form
The release of drugs is implemented in the form of a gel, tablets, and parenteral fluid.
Tablets with a volume of 50 mg, 10 pieces each in a cellular package. The pack contains 5 such packages. Also, tablets with an extended type of exposure (volume 0.1 g), in the amount of 10 pieces inside the strip. In the box - 1 or 2 such strips.
It is also available as a 1% or 5% gel, inside tubes with a capacity of 20, 30, as well as 50 or 100 g. In a pack - 1 such tube.
It is also produced as a parenteral liquid (volume 25 mg / ml), inside ampoules with a capacity of 3 ml. In the box - 5 or 10 of these ampoules.
Dosing and administration
Tablets should be taken orally - after a meal at a dosage of 25-50 mg 2-3 times a day. The duration of therapy is determined by the severity of the disease, as well as the condition of the patient. Tablets having a prolonged effect are applied 1 st (0.1 g) 1 time per day, before meals.
Parenteral fluid is administered intramuscularly or intravenously. In / in the introduction is made through an IV (the substance from the ampoule is pre-dissolved in 5% glucose or saline (0.1-0.5 l), adding 8.4% (0.5 ml) or 4.2% (1 ml) sodium bicarbonate liquid). For the day, children can be administered parenterally and orally not more than 2 mg / kg of the drug; in the case of juvenile arthritis, not more than 3 mg / kg, and for an adult - a maximum of 0.15 g.
Gel is necessary to treat the area where the pain is localized. The drug is applied to the washed dry skin, with neat massaging movements, 2 times a day. Children 6-12 years of age per day can use a maximum of 1 g of the substance, and adolescents from 12 years old - 2 g. Contraindications
The main contraindications:

Gel can not handle damaged areas of the epidermis.

Interactions with other drugs
The use of the gel together with other local substances that enhance the sensitivity of the epidermis, increases the likelihood of photosensitization.
Tablets and drug solution can increase blood levels of digoxin with cyclosporine and lithium drugs when combined with them.
There is an increase in the likelihood of negative signs and bleeding in the gastrointestinal area when the drug is combined with the rest of NSAIDs, methotrexate, St. John's wort, GCS, corticotropin, alcoholic beverages and colchicine.
The combination with substances of gold, cyclosporine, a diuretic of potassium-saving type or paracetamol leads to an increase in Diclogen's toxic activity towards the kidneys, and also the risk of hyperkalemia.
The drug weakens the medical properties of diuretic drugs, antihypertensive drugs, hypnotics and vasodilators.
Increased likelihood of bleeding occurs when sharing the drug with substances that affect the blood coagulability - thrombolytics or anticoagulants.
Drug activity of diclofenac is weakened when combined with aspirin.
The use of medication together with hypoglycemic agents for oral administration can provoke hypo-or hyperglycemia.
The risk of hypoprothrombinemia is increased in the case of a combination of the drug with valproic acid, cefoperazone, cefotetan, and plicamycin or cefamandol.
Application for children
Diclogene is forbidden to use in children under 6 years of age. Tablets with extended type of exposure is not prescribed until the 18th anniversary.
