Devyasil rootstock is used to eliminate colds and coughs. It is part of a group of drugs with expectorant properties.
Indications of the devyasila rhizomes
It is used to eliminate the following disorders:
- diseases affecting the respiratory system (pneumonia and tracheitis with bronchitis, and in addition to ARVI);
- pathology in the gastrointestinal tract (enterocolitis with gastritis, digestive disorders and loss of appetite).
Release form
The release is made in the form of herbal collection, in packages of 100 grams, and in addition in a pack containing 20 filter packets with a volume of 4 g.
Pharmacodynamics
Bioactive elements of the drug have anti-inflammatory, choleretic, expectorant, antimicrobial, and in addition tonic and diuretic effects.
The drug stabilizes the secretory and motor activity of various departments of the gastrointestinal tract, and besides it helps improve metabolic processes.
Dosing and administration
To prepare the tincture, pour 1 tablespoon of the collection spoon into the container, then add hot boiled water (0.2 liters) to it, then cover the container with a lid and leave to infuse for half an hour in a boiling water bath. Next, the broth is cooled for 10 minutes, filter and squeeze the residue. After that, the volume of tincture is adjusted to 0.2 liters, adding boiled water to it.
To drink a medicine you need a warm, 2-3 times a day, 60 minutes before eating:
- serving for teenagers from 14 years and adults - 0.5 glasses;
- dose for children of the 12-14 age group - one third of a glass of glass;
- children from the age group of 7-12 years - the dose is 2 tablespoons;
- children aged 3-7 years - the size of the portion is 1-ton tablespoon.
Before use, tincture should be shaken.
It is required to take 2 filter bags and place them inside the cup, then pour boiling water into it (0.1 L), close the lid with the lid and leave to infuse (for about 15-20 minutes).
It is necessary to drink warm tincture, 2-3 times per day, per hour before eating:
- for adolescents from 14 years and adults - the size of the portion is 0.1 l;
- for children from the age group 12-14 years - the dose size is equal to a third of the glass;
- children age in the range of 7-12 years - a portion is 2 tablespoons;
- children aged 3-7 years - the dosage is 1 tablespoon.
The duration of the treatment course is selected by the doctor, for each patient separately.
Use of the devyasila rhizomes during pregnancy
Prescribe Devyasil rhizome lactating or pregnant women - is contraindicated.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- the presence of hypersensitivity to bioactive elements of the drug;
- severe forms of diseases affecting the kidney and MTS.
Storage conditions
Devyasil rootstocks should be kept in a place that is closed from children, at temperatures not exceeding 30 ° C. The ready-made broth can be stored for a maximum of 2 days at a temperature level of 8-15 ° C.
Shelf life
Devyasil root can be used for 3 years from the date of release of the therapeutic agent.
Application for children
The medicine can be used only for children from 3 years old.
