Pharmacokinetics
After treating the skin with a drug, less than 50% of the chlorooxenol portion is absorbed into the blood, it is quickly synthesized there with a protein (this figure is 85-90%), and then metabolized (by 10-15%) with conversion to a catechinic or benzyl alcoholic structure.
So far it has not been possible to establish in which organ the metabolism of the substance takes place.
Excretion of most of the substance occurs in the urine - in the form of sulfate, as well as glucuronic conjugates in a ratio of 1 k6. The half-life of the drug is about 2-3 hours.
Dosing and administration
Scheme of application of solution.
The medicine is used externally - for children from 1 year old, as well as adults.
To treat scratches, and besides cuts and bites made by insects, it is required to wash the affected area with a medical solution (it is necessary to dissolve 50 ml of the drug in water (1 liter of water, 5% - 1k 20)), then cover the wound with bandage or dry gauze the bandage.
