Dentinox is used as an analgesic drug during the eruption in children of different ages of teeth.
Indications Dentinox
It is indicated for external use as an analgesic agent that relieves unpleasant symptoms during the appearance of infant teeth (such manifestations as inflammatory processes, and with it irritation and pain in the gums). Can be used during the eruption of molars.
The drug is also often used as a preventive agent.
Release form
Produced in gel form in tubes of 10 g. One pack contains 1 tube of medicine.
Pharmacodynamics
It has local anesthetic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic properties.
The gel contains a local anesthetic lidocaine, and in addition, chamomile tincture, which contains many bioactive components.
Thanks to the medicine, it is possible to reduce the discomfort and pain that occurs during the eruption in children of dairy, as well as molars.

After gum treatment, a noticeable absorption of active components in the systemic blood stream is not observed, as well as any effect on the body.

Dosing and administration
The gel is required to process a gum site, where the tooth is cut. The size of a single dosage should not exceed the amount of a pea. Apply the medicine by using a clean finger or a wand of cotton wool - it should be gently rubbed.
Dentinox can be used several times a day. Use it is allowed until the baby erupts all the dairy, and then as the molars appear.

Contraindications
Absolute contraindication of the drug is the patient's hypersensitivity to the active components of drugs and their excipients. In addition, do not apply gel if there is damage to the oral mucosa.
Since the drug contains sorbitol, it is not recommended for use in the treatment of patients with congenital intolerance to fructose.

As a rule, the medicine does not provoke adverse reactions and is well tolerated. As a result of the treatment with gel, allergic manifestations were noted, such as a rash with itching, and in addition reddening of the skin.

Shelf life
Dentinox is suitable for use for 5 years from the date of its release, but it must be taken into account that after opening the tube it is allowed to use no more than 1 year.
