Bom-Bengue

Bom-Benge is an ointment with a locally irritating effect. It has the smell of methyl salicylate with menthol. The color of the ointment is yellow or white.
Indications Bom-Bengue
Indicated for treatment:
- pain in the muscles or joints, as well as pain, developing against the background of the disease located next to the joints of tissues;
- radiculitis and lumboschialgia.

Release form
Produced in an ointment form in glass jars with a volume of 25 g. One package contains 1 can. In a cardboard box there are 20 such cans.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug has a combined composition - it includes 2 active substances (menthol, as well as methyl salicylate). When used locally, they have a powerful analgesic, as well as a certain local anesthetic effect.
Dosing and administration
Ointment is used externally. In this case, the required amount of the drug (about 2-4 g) should be rubbed in the area where there is pain. If necessary, the processing procedure can be repeated after several hours (no more than 3 times a day). The duration of the treatment course without prescribing a doctor is a maximum of 10 days.
Use Bom-Bengue during pregnancy
Use of medicines during lactation or pregnancy is allowed only with the permission of the treating doctor.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications of the medicine:
- hypersensitivity to substances contained in the drug;
- presence of open wound lesions on the surface of the skin;
- irritation of the skin;
- age younger than 6 years.
Caution is required when prescribing to patients with aspirin bronchial asthma, and in addition to children aged 6-12 years.
Side effects Bom-Bengue
Occasionally, the use of Bom-Benge leads to irritation in the area of treatment or skin allergies, as well as the development of increased sensitivity or edema of Quincke.
Overdose
There is no evidence of drug overdose. If there was an accidental ingestion of the drug (usually in children), it is required to immediately perform gastric lavage and give the patient an enterosorbent.
Interactions with other drugs
Bom-Benge can cause cutaneous hyperemia, and in addition to reflexively increase the rate of microcirculation within the subcutaneous tissues. Therefore, it is not recommended to combine it with other drugs of local use - this can enhance the absorption of the latter.
The combination in large dosages can enhance the toxic properties of methotrexate, as well as weaken the drug effect of antidiabetic drugs.
The medicine can not be used simultaneously with oral anticoagulants.
Storage conditions
Keep the drug in a place that is protected from sunlight and moisture, and also inaccessible to young children. Temperatures are a maximum of 25 degrees.
Shelf life
Bom-Beng is suitable for use within 3 years from the date of its release.
