Pharmacodynamics
Dimorphous and mold fungi, and in addition dermatophytes and blastomycetes with actinomycetes have a sensitivity to the drug.
The active element of the Canison slows down the binding of the molecules of the ergosterol component (it is necessary for the formation of membranes of fungal cells). Violation of the binding of this substance helps destroy cell membranes and alter the intracellular structure. As a result, the cells of the fungus die.
Together with this, clotrimazole has a retarding effect on peroxidases, potentiating the activity of oxidative processes inside cells.
The drug also has an antibacterial effect on staphylococci with corynebacteria and streptococci. In addition, it effectively affects and amoeba with Trichomonas.
