Bioglobin is a medicine that affects the implementation of metabolic processes and digestive activity. The medicine is made from human placenta and is included in the subgroup of biogenic stimulants.

The drug has reparative, anti-inflammatory, immunotropic, analgesic, and also chondroprotective, antimutagenic, anticoagulant, antioxidant and antistress properties. Its therapeutic activity helps to stabilize and correct metabolic processes.

Indications Bioglobin

It is used in combination therapy for various types of osteochondrosis and osteoarthrosis, as well as for rheumatoid arthritis.

Release form

The release of the medicinal substance is realized in the form of injection liquid, inside ampoules with a volume of 2 ml. In a box - 10 such ampoules.

Pharmacodynamics

The active ingredients of the drug are modified polypeptides with a molecular weight of 5000-6000 D. They contain at least 1 amino acid together with an oxy group inside the side chain; they affect the rate of metabolic processes.

Dosing and administration

The medication must be administered intramuscularly in a dose of 2 ml per day.

The treatment cycle consists of 15 injections. If necessary, the attending physician may prescribe repeated courses.

Use Bioglobin during pregnancy

It is prohibited to administer Bioglobin to women during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Contraindications

Main contraindications:

  • infections of a generalized nature;
  • purulent endometritis;
  • coma;
  • decompensated cardiovascular pathologies in the active phase;
  • malignant tumors (stages 3-4) after a course of radiation procedures;
  • active kidney disease or renal failure;
  • strong personal sensitivity to the medication.

Side effects Bioglobin

Joint pain or its potentiation may occur. Sometimes the temperature may increase to 37.5ºС or a feeling of discomfort may appear (for 30-120 minutes). If such negative symptoms appear, the medication does not need to be discontinued. Instead, it may be suggested to extend the interval between treatment procedures to 2 days. Allergy symptoms may also be observed.

Interactions with other drugs

It is prohibited to combine Bioglobin with CG substances or hormonal agents from the GCS category.

The medication cannot be combined with Zubitsky or Beresh drops, as well as with Bitner's balm and other tonic substances.

Storage conditions

Bioglobin should be stored in a dark place, out of the reach of small children. Temperature – in the range of 2-8°C.

Shelf life

Bioglobin is permitted to be used for a 2-year period from the date of manufacture of the medicinal substance.

Application for children

Should not be used in children under 12 years of age.
