Bilobil has antihypoxant, angioprotective, neurometabolic and antioxidant properties, and besides it improves microcirculation processes and potentiates cerebral and peripheral blood flow.
It is a herbal remedy; stabilizes cell metabolism, tissue perfusion and rheological blood characteristics.
Helps improve cerebral blood flow and contributes to saturation of the brain with oxygen and glucose. The drug slows down erythrocyte aggregation and inhibits platelet activation. Depending on the size of the portion, it regulates the influence exerted relative to the vessels, activates the production of NO, increases the venous tone, which leads to a change in the blood vessel filling of the vessels, and expands the arterioles. Strengthens the strength of the vascular walls.
Indications Bilobil
It is used for disorders of peripheral blood flow and microcirculation, and in addition, for Raynaud's disease.
Appointed in the case of injury-related, stroke, age, and other factors of DEP, in which there is a deterioration of attention and memory, a weakening of cognitive indicators and a change in daily mode.
It can be used for neurosensory disorders (dizziness, ear noise, hypoacusia, etc.), diabetic retinal disease and age-related degeneration of the yellow eye spot.

Pharmacodynamics
The drug has an antithrombotic effect (strengthens the strength of platelet and erythrocyte walls, affects the biosynthesis of PG and reduces the effectiveness of platelet activating factor). It slows down the processes of peroxide fatty oxidation inside the cell walls and the formation of free radical elements. Stabilizes the metabolism of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, dopamine and acetylcholine).
At the same time, it has anti-hypoxic activity, stimulates metabolism, helps cumulation of macroergs, increases the rate of oxygen utilization with glucose, and regulates mediating processes inside the brain.
Pharmacokinetics
Indicators of bioavailability of ginkgolides with bilobalide equal to 85%. The Cmax level is noted after 120 minutes from the moment of taking the drug. The term half-life is within 4-10 hours.
The molecules of these components do not undergo disintegration inside the body, being completely excreted with urine and feces (the smaller part).
Dosing and administration
Bilobil's capsules are swallowed whole, washed down with ordinary water. Before use, you should consult on the use of drugs with a doctor. Significant improvement is possible already after the 1st month of therapy. In this case, the duration of the treatment cycle should be at least 3 months.
Using standard capsules.
In the case of treatment with DEP, 1-2 capsules of the drug are required to be taken 3 times a day.
In disorders of the peripheral blood flow and microcirculation, and besides, Raynaud's disease, the medicine is used 3 times a day, in the first capsule.
In case of neurosensory disorders, retinopathy of a diabetic nature and age-related degeneration of the yellow eye spot, a 1-n capsule should be applied 3-fold per day.
The use of the drug form Bilobil Intens 120, as well as Bilobil Forte.
Bilobil Forte should be applied 2-3 times a day for the 1st capsule, and Intens 120 dosage form - 1-fold (in the morning) or 2-fold (in the morning, and also in the evening), on the 1st capsule.

Use Bilobil during pregnancy
It is forbidden to use the drug in case of pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Contraindications
The main contraindications:
- gastritis having an erosive nature;
- weakened clotting;
- disorders of cerebral blood flow in the active phase;
- aggravated ulcer;
- myocardial infarction;
- severe intolerance to the elements of the drug.

Side effects Bilobil
Among the side effects:
- Disorders of the National Assembly: dizziness, insomnia, hearing disorders and headaches;
